Most of the work done was of reasonably good quality however, it was very difficult to get a clear commitment on the actual scope of work and cost. The amounts kept changing and did not reflect the entire amount of work necessary to complete this job. For example there would still be electrical, plumbing, painting issues unresolved as well as a constant demand for us to provide and pick up Materials almost daily. As result I elected to stop work by this contractor and source someone else.

Rotten railings open both front and rear porches had to be replaced. Ben and O.P. searched lumber yards until they're satisfied with the materials and got a good match. They showed up on time and worked diligently until the project was done. I ca recommend them for your project.

The only "negative" if you want to call it that is that Whole Earth Construction is not cheap.Having said that, I must add immediately that they have been worth their money in the sense that when there were delays through no fault of them, they took care of every issue that they could help with and gave good advice to help fix the issues and never tried to take advantage of the bind that we were in.
Ben has an excellent rapport with his team; they were always friendly and never left the site in a mess.
If I have another project, Whole Earth will be the first contractor I will call; the quality of their work has been very good.
