I unfortunately paid Benjamin Sloan McBurnett upfront for part of my home remodel project. He has not completed the project nor has he corrected improper workmanship. See pictures provided. He refuses to give me a refund for incomplete work or make good on issues. He no longer replies to my inquiries. We had a time and materials verbal contract, but he did not supply me with copies of product invoices. Mr McBurnett had given me a fake subcontractor name, I can only assume to keep me from contacting them. However, the subcontractor contacted me when they could not make contact with him. The subcontractor provided me with purchase amount and was prepared to provide and install for me. However the counter top base was improperly built so they cannot install the countertops. BSM (Benjamin Sloan McBurnett) marked up materials and labor over 52% according to the invoice the subcontractor provided to me. So I have paid greatly for a job not done and most of what was done is inferior work. This subcontractor did not do the base cabinet work so I will have to now pay someone else to build correctly in order to get countertops already paid for installed
