    Master Bath Repair/Remodal
    $1,200

We hired Bent Nail to redo our master bath shower. The price was good and they were able to start soon after we called but the work done was not good. Firstly it took a day longer then they originally said that it would. Secondly they were only redoing part of the shower so we expected them to try and match the rest of the shower as closely as possible. We understand you cant get the exact tile but the grout lines were at least twice as think as the rest of the shower making the patch job super obvious. Also the grout lines were crooked in many place as were the tiles themselves. They chipped several original tiles and just left them there instead of replacing them with new ones. Also some of the new tiles stuck up higher then others and the shower floor does not seem to be tapered correctly so that the water flows to the drain. We noticed the water now just sits in the corners and doesn't move towards the center drain like it used to. Although they tried to clean up after themselves they left the bathroom covered in a thick layer of dust. When we brought our concerns to the owner he came back out but stood by his men's work. We are selling our home and now worry the new owners will back out due to the bad job that was done. We will likely have to pay another $1200-1300 to have it redone by someone else.
