  Very poor experience with this contractor. Firstly, his workmanship is poor: slanted cabinets, some cabinets are mounted slightly higher than others, wall cabinets near the range hood start 2 inches below the ceiling whereas wall cabinets near the fridge start 2.5 inches below the ceiling. we are now required to remount all the wall cabinets near the range hood to be 0.5 inches lower to fit the crown molding and correct the slanted cabinets. Secondly, no account of the amounts spent on materials, and he refuses to provide them. In addition, the contractor yelled at me for contacting the cabinet store to buy additional cabinets and contacting the countertop fabrication and installation company to understand the stones they carry. He told me that I cannot contact his suppliers although they entertain walk-in customers and were willing to explain their products to me. Thirdly, lack of clarity on the products supplied. He brought us limited samples of the countertop stone and we receive no information on the quality of these stones, their quartz composition, their brands or design models, and their countries of origin after repeatedly asking for the information. one of the most ludicrous experiences was he gave us Cambria's website when we asked if there were more design patterns to choose from and only to be told that he budgeted only $2100 for the countertop material and installation and we will have to pay anything above that amount after having chosen a design from Cambria. Does he not know how much Cambria quartz costs? We googled the stone company that he uses and found poor reviews accusing it of using cheap Chinese knock-outs as substitutes STONE CORP USA - 494 Riverview Dr, Totowa, New Jersey - Countertop Installation - Phone Number - Yelp. Fourthly, he doesn't care if the cabinets that he ordered for us are too small and impractical to use and if these cabinets cannot be returned. It was our mistake in trusting him to provide us with reasonable materials (since he claims he will be renovating our place as if he is renovating his place) without specifying the amount budgeted for each material. We trusted him to explain the products to us and provide us with the itemized breakdown of the materials but none of these happened. We were also told by his workers that he quoted us on the high side. Will never recommend this business to anyone.
