We hired Berkley Construction for a complete remodel of our attic. The owner never oversaw any work and we had to ask the workers multiple times to redo things, such as window frames, doors that were put in the wrong way, damaged drywall pieces, etc. The owner hired subcontractors who were unwilling to give us their names or any contact information. After not even a year, the base boards came off the walls because they had not been caulked and fastened properly. The owner was never available for us after we signed the contract and gave us no options for different materials. He recommended to use an electrician that he worked with for years who messed our house up for good. We were left with 6 dead light switches, lights that were not reconnected and switches in places where nobody needs them. We wanted a window on the roof that was in the contract, but during the process we were told that they cannot do it. It was a horrible experience and we had to fix many things afterwards.
