Bernie Dospoy Windows and Doors

I have had Bernie come to my house twice to do outdoor improvements both windows and storm doors. I am contacting him again for a third installation at my home. I believe Bernie to be trustworthy and I think his work is awesome. Bernie knows how to work with aluminum and does a tremendous job capping windows. Easy to work with and communicates promptly. VERY conscientious about clean up!

This is the second project I had Bernie do for me. The first was about 12 years ago. Like the first, Bernie did an awesome job! He replaced 20 windows and three doors. Bernie works efficiently and leaves the area cleaner then when he starts. He's a great example of an American locally owned business. He is honest and actually stands behind his work, gives you great options, and even has financing. I'd recommend Bernie to anyone who wants good, efficient, and quality work at a fair price.

I am so glad that I contacted Bernie to replace the old windows in my dining room area. He was highly recommended by a friend who knew the quality of his work. When Bernie arrived at my doorstep to evaluate the job, he was very professional---surprisingly, his advice for replacing the windows and his price quote were great! The window shipment arrived earlier than anticipated, so he was able to install the windows well before the cold weather arrived. Completing the job went very well---no mess, no fuss. We had Bernie replace twelve windows, a single door, and a double door with a circle head window above it. We got pricing from ten contractors and chose Bernie based on price and, more importantly, a feeling that he would provide the best job. Bernie is competent, did what he said he was going to do, we always knew what was happening with our project, and the workmanship is great. We would definitely hire him again.

Bernie installed 6 windows on our 90 year old house and installed our front door! Our house is very challenging since it is very old and is not leveled. He was able to make everything look great! Bernie installed ten windows including a Bay in my home. Installation was completed on time, within budget and looks great. The AC and heating units run a lot less, and the house looks and feels so much better. I highly recommend Bernie for any type of window installation.

Bernie was awesome! Took no time at all replacing two windows and sliding doors. He came out promptly to take a look at the job and then ordered the supplies and as soon as they arrived he came out and replaced them right away. We started remodeling about ten years ago and the first project was a replacement door to the sunroom. It’s ten years later and Bernie has installed 7 doors, siding and trim, 26 replacement windows and excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
The only problem we have is that all the work is done and we won’t be seeing Bernie on a regular basis. We’ve come to not only appreciate his skills, but also his character. He was great with our three dogs over the years too!! We’ve made a warm lifelong connection.

Bernie has done multiple jobs for me including installing a patio door, a double kitchen window, six second floor windows and two bay windows. After the project was completed he would ask me to inspect before he left. Not only were there no issues but the area was spotless. Bernie is both skillful and detail oriented in his craft. He pays extreme attention to detail and is meticulous in all aspects of the process of the installation of doors and windows. Bernie did an excellent job installing our windows and door at our home. He constantly stayed in touch with us to inform us of timing for delivery of the materials and his timeline for completing the job. He was respectful throughout the process and kept our families best interest in mind before and after the install. He even agreed to install new shutters on our house for us. Great experience and we couldn't have asked for a better person to work with on our home project.

Bernie is an excellent contractor. He is professional, courteous and efficient. He showed up on time, patiently answered our questions and checked in when issues arose. Bernie replaced 16 louver windows with a mix of fixed and casement windows, plus a new outside door. The house was built in the 1950s and all the windows and door had major reframing needed. Bernie did an expect job. He is attentive to details while respectfully dealing with his clients. We will definitely work with him on our next project.

I got several quotes for the install. Bernie's price was very good and the windows were excellent. He installed all my windows at my rental unit. I had eleven windows replaced by Bernie Dospoy including my large bay window. He did a wonderful job. They look fantastic. He was prompt each day and he cleaned up so well after he was done you would never know he was there. He was even patient as I asked him a million and one questions. I had twenty (20) Pella windows installed in my house built in 1894 by Bernie Dospoy this past week. I could not be happier with the results. I live in Lancaster City on a very busy street with some crazy Winter weather this last week; despite these challenges, Bernie was a consummate professional. He was courteous, respectful and answered all of my questions and/or addressed any concerns I had. I was most impressed by his craftsmanship when installing my three (3) arched windows on my 2nd floor, but he did treat the rest of my windows with as much care and attention to detail an old home requires. Even the ladies who came to clean my house complemented him on his cleanliness! They said they were expecting to clean up a lot around those windows, but were happily surprised at how clean the area and the windows were. Also, my dogs Bear and Baloo loved Bernie. So, not surprisingly, I highly recommend Bernie Dospoy Windows and Doors.
