I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone. Even in an emergency. I received a recommendation via my realtor with an estimate, then gave to green light to schedule an inspection of my well, septic, and water. Gary Buchner (president/owner of this company) arrived at my house approximately 10 minutes late, complained about the 45 minute drive, needed me to supply a wrench, as he had forgotten his in his truck, slowly puttered around the yard to inspect the well pump and septic tank and mound, then informed me of the fixes needed. Oddly enough, he told me he was not interested in doing the repairs because it took too long to get to my house. Why bother to accept the job in the first place if you are not interested in the business? Be upfront and tell your potential customer your decision based on travel time? In the end, one of the requested water tests was not done, even though I mentioned it as we were getting water samples. I was charged $51 for a test that was supposed to be included in the total price, was overcharged $15 for another (maybe because he had to drive back to my house to get another water sample? ), and was charged $150 for an hour to collect samples/do an inspection which took 35 minutes, $150 an hour to write a single page report, and $300 for driving to my home, and $200 to pump the septic. I'm not sure of the current competitive cost for pumping the septic, however 3 years ago we had it done for $135. I'm very dissatisfied, as there was never a mention of cost of driving at $150/hour, we were overcharged, service was not good, a test was forgotten, and they refused to back down on any of their faults. If you want to be charged 50% more than you are expecting, give them a try. I have never written a review before for a business but felt compelled to do so after such a terrible experience.
