    I would give minus stars if that were possible. This outfit was supposed to fix a leak, power washed our roof, did a primer coat plus painted 2 coats. Was told it would last 10-15 years. It didn’t even last a year. Called them back and they did a worse job than the first time! They don’t answer phone calls. Wish I had never used rhem

    I would like to express my experience with Bernard (Bernie Rafferty) Seal-coating and his sons. They have been terminated by Home Advisor as of May 2016. His contact numbers are. (215) 977-4865 ext. 10540, 717-380-9573, 330-354-3078, 267-307-8934. His Contractor number are PA082392 and PA021303 expiration 06-11-2017, based off of Home Advisor’s recommendation I hired him and his sons. I contacted Sterling Insurance Company who stated they no longer have insurance with them. The first day they were to arrive, I received a text they had death in the family. I called the father, (has a son Bernie JR), he apologized and we rescheduled for 2 March 2016, at which time I was told they had another loss in the family. So we rescheduled for 7 March 2016. They did not arrive on time. That evening, I received a call from Bernie JR. Stating their credit card machines was broken and could I send the money via Money Gram! I sent him $1100.00, minus the fee, JR said they needed the supplies to complete the jobs they had the following morning.
    I reluctantly agreed, with the promise they would return to my home the next day, for the work to be inspected by a friend. They never returned to my residence. Nor did they ever send the estimate or the invoice. On 9 March 2016 my insurance company Liberty Mutual inspected my home and put in writing the soffit, eaves fascia and siding hanging! These things were paid for along with the roof and shingles for the front of the house. On 11 March 2011, my credit card company informed me that Bernie Rafferty charged my credit card $1100. It was later, reversed. As of 20 December 2016, I never heard from them again.
    Check out and confirm with the insurance company that Bernie Rafferty Seal-coating have valid insurance and bonding!

    I hired him in April 2016 for our driveway. He was supposed to put 2 coats of oil-based seal coating and fill the holes. Well, it looked good for less than a month. Less than a month later, we had grass growing out of our driveway and the moss came back within 2 weeks. I called and after leaving 2 messages, I got a call back from his "nephew" who said that Bernie and his son were in a car accident where they were thrown from the car. He said he was from Montana and he would have his uncle call as soon as he was better. He also suggested that I spray grass killer on the grass. Needless to say, I have called since then and no response. I am reporting him to the AG's Office.

    I hired him through Home Advisor to seal my flat roof and install a gutter. He did nothing to the roof and placed the gutter is in the wrong area so it leaks worse than before. He does not return calls. Definitely do not hire this guy.

    I hired them thru Home Advisor. I had a leak on my roof. He quoted $450 to fix the leak. He sprayed foam on the roof and the roof is still leaking. This is a fly-by-night outfit. Do not hire them and do not use Home Advisor. They would not honor the work or the contractor.

    Driveway seal

    Did not protect our garage, the flashing around it, and my plastic arbor near the driveway. Asphalt got on it, and I was told they would come out and try to clean it off. They never came. I called and left multiple messages, and none of my calls were returned.
