Bero's Remodeling

This contractor is one of the worst Ive ever worked with. The owner is a horrible person. Bero they call him. He is a Russian, or similar area immigrate, he wont allow his workers to take any break's or a lunch, he pays them illegally. They are not employees. He will come to jobs and do nothing but swear and complain to his men about how they arent getting anything done, and its all done wrong. He cuts every, and all corners on his work. He will charge you for thing's he has not done. He is the owner of many slum buildings in Harrisburg,PA. if you would ever think of hiring him for work, maybe look up his property's and see how he takes care of them first. He doesn't. He rents to mostly low income, single black families. And bullies and takes full advantage of this and lets them live without basics they need such as hot water heaters, a way to heat the home or apartment for a couple weeks or more. The job he did for me on Susquehanna st. Harrisburg, PA. Was and is a disaster. he would stop by 1 maybe 2 times a day and stir his men up till they were so stresses they couldn't function right. He was telling them to use old material, and to cover up rotting and ruined framing members on a first and second floor porch. He had them reuse things on the job that were no good. And his men were basically lost because he gave them no real direction, and would control every move they made on the job. He is not a contractor, when things didnt work or looked horrible because of how he wanted it done, he would turn around and say that the employee/sub contractor did it wrong and he didnt tell them to do it that way. Every other contractor had figured up to a week and a half to finish this job, and on basically rebuilding. When him and his crew arrived, he told them that they should only be there for a day or two. Do not hire this company to do anything on your home, you will regret it. And also he has a crew of felons as his work crew. The worker was talking about being in jail for 5 years for trafficking heroin. You dont want people like that around or in your home, when your not home, or able to watch their every move. He hires them because it hard for them to get good employment because of their records, and past charges. And he can treat them like crap and pay them very low. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY !! THEY ARE THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY 40 YEARS OF CONTRACTING !!
