We used Bertam Electric in our kitchen remodel. They were the worst experience of the whole project. They gave us an estimate for extensive work in our house. We did all but a bathroom project. During the project they made several mistakes including putting in an outlet in the wrong spot that had to be moved (they had the plans in their hands at the time they did the wiring). After wiring our kitchen we came home to turn on the light and the fuses blew, lights in other parts of the house did not work. All of this required several extra trips to correct. They charged us for all of their trips to fix mistakes. The cost come out $1000's of dollars over the extimate (even though they did not do the one project in a bathroom which was included in the estimate)and they became very hostile when we addressed this with them, threatening to get an attorney if we did not pay the full amount. It was shocking.
