Berts Boilers owner Robert Sandy recently purchased Sierra Eco Systems, a company that specialized in installing ground based geothermal heating/cooling systems, including the one at my Reno home 10 years ago.
Robert and technician Chantz came out to service and make some repairs to my system last week, and the difference in how it works now is simply amazing.
Both men are very knowledgeable and customer oriented, a huge plus for those of us just wanting to find honest, competent technicians to keep our mechanical systems in good working order.
I highly recommend Bert's Boilers for all your geothermal heat pump system servicing and repair.

Absolutely would NEVER recommend Bert’s boilers to anyone as they do not stand behind their work and ignore phone calls, voicemails and text messages. My geothermal/ground source unit was installed by Sierra Eco (owner, Ric Rowlatt) Who has since retired and sends all of his clients to Bert’s boilers. Back in May 2024 the heat in the room that houses that unit became hot as a blast furnace over 100°. I called Bert’s boilers. They came out charged me $225 and told me it was fixed. I did not I have a need for heat until October 2024. It was in. I discovered that room was again as I was a blast furnace and registered 112° and the material they said, and fix the situation was just lying on the floor behind the ductwork! I place many calls, voicemails and text messages to Mr. Sandy, the owner, who ignore them all, and never even acknowledged that I have contacted him. I am asking for a refund of my $225 for the failure of and lack of. Consideration. This is unconscionable to go through with this outfit.
