My husband and I hired Jason to paint the inside of our home, tear down and build a new fence, paint the fence and install 2 new windows. There were 3 different occasions were we came to the house and smelt marijuana all over. When we confronted him, he said he had workers on his crew who smoked and there's not much he can do about it. Our two accent walls are blotchy and the doors were put on wrong (not to mention one of the door stopper was put on top either wrong or was meant to be put on the bottom) we paid him over $3,000 to do our fence and we've had multiple contractors give us tips that he used second hand boards which are now cracking, sticking out and falling apart. the nails are also sticking out all over the boards as well, which can be extremely dangerous especially with kids. It took him over a month to even get our windows in from Tri-City Glass come to find out one was the wrong measurement.. so we had to order it AGAIN. He came up with multiple excuses as to why he couldn't come day by day to finish certain things. His response was " I can't afford to come to your house. I have other customers " in total we gave this guy $6,600. When we confronted him about smoking marijuana while on the job he stated that it was legal and so on. In my opinion this is an EXTREMELY unprofessional contractor! From the start he wouldn't reply to any of my text messages about his work or when he was planning on coming by, he would only speak about it on the phone or in person. He would never go through my husband (who paid for everything) he would only speak with me.
