Patti turned a lemon into lemonade on our project. We faced a disgruntled sub whose workmanship was less than professional. After talking with Patti, she had a new sub immediately and with his helpers they focused on emoting and improving the existing work. A professional job with attention to even small details resulted.
We now have the upgrades we dreamed of in our bedroom, bathroom and recreation rooms and are proud to show them all off to our family and friends.
We will work with Patti again in future

Thanks to Pattie, we finally got the hardwood floor installed that's been delayed for 3 years due to pandemic. It was great working with Pattie. She was very informative and transparent with her costs with suggestions on where to get the best deals for supplies.

Her team showed up on time everyday and communicated the challenges as they came up (there were a few which was expected with any remodel). She always had great suggestions on how to address the challenges and worked to deliver great results.

We'd work with team again for the next phases of our remodel.

Patty was very good about staying in touch. Work was delayed due to other jobs and other issues. Very caring and kind. Work for most part was great, just drywall on ceiling not what I expected. There were additional expenses that I didn't realize were going to be expenses so make sure everything is spelled out very detailed in contract and make sure change orders are signed off.

I had a family room, eating area and kitchen painted. It was scheduled quickly and communication was clear. The prep work and caulking was meticulous so the painted rooms turned out beautifully.

Patti is an excellent communicator/coordinator and kept us updated with general status. Unfortunately one of her sub contractors cancelled on her and she had to go with a new sub contractor that asked for additional money above the original contract which we weren't to happy with so we cancelled the contract and requested a refund.

Excellent work. Very good attention to detail. Two months later, I'm still noticing small things that were done to make it an exceptional job.Two examples:

1. The painter took all the doors off the hinges, rather than mask them, so as not to get paint on them.

2. All window blinds were removed, including the brackets, to avoid getting paint on them.

The job was to tear down the remnants of an old barn and to empty an old mobile home. Clear vegetation from around old mobile home, remove moss from roof. Remove rotten deck and shed, build new entrance steps and board up entrance at site of old shed. Level land and install gravel on parking area and driveway. Finally, build railings at entrances to triple wide mobile home. All work completed as discussed and it looks great. Credit Patti Dodd with great communication and attention to detail. We were very pleased with Patti and the folks who turned our deck from an unfinished cedar to a beautiful, professional finish. We had waited a year after its construction to look into staining it, and by the time we got around to it, there were irregular marks and such that had accumulated all over. Ultimately, we decided to clean, sand, and stain. They were prompt, professional, and we are just so pleased with their work and service.

Our project was to replace a 30+ y.o. cedar deck and a back gate that had severely deteriorated. We found Best1 Solutions through BuildZoom late in the bidding process. They came out on somewhat short notice and provided thoughtful suggestions to several problems associated with replacing the decking. They were also very good at problem solving as the work progressed and worked with us every step of the way. Several days after the work was completed, one of the pvc decking boards ended up needing to be replaced and one of the cedar fascia boards cracked and also needed to be replaced. They were at our house the day after the replacement materials arrived to do the work at no extra charge. We think our deck looks great! We found everyone we worked with to be pleasant and very easy to get along with. I highly recommend Best1 Solutions!

Best 1 did a great job within our strict budget and timeline. We appreciated their clear communication. They were also patient with us as we changed our minds several times before settling on a final plan, and didn't mind that we like to be very hands on with projects like this. We are very pleased with the results of our project with them.

Stellar is the one best word to describe the service provided. Patti was quick to contact me and scheduled my project within 1-2 days, vs 2-3 weeks out with other companies. Patti arranged to have Drake tackle the problem with an aging French drain. Drake is very knowledgeable, skilled, candid, and explains things clearly. After probing and examining the system, he quickly diagnosed and resolved the issue. Within an hour the problem was easily solved! Other service people proposed extensive and costly measures that were entirely unnecessary. Both Patti and Drake were very professional, accommodating, and efficient . About a year ago, I had Best 1 Solutions remodel my master bathroom., which included putting in a handicap shower. I also needed to raise my living and dining room floors to eliminate a sunken living room. I wanted hardwood floors put down so a wheelchair could move around the house. As the work began, I added wood floors for all the rooms in the house. Bruce suggested putting in a new product that was waterproof and looks like real wood. I fell in love with it. After the floors were in, Bruce, who has a delightful sense of humor, hinted that the living could use a fresh coat of paint. I asked how about a new coat of paint for all the rooms? I must say that Bruce has the patience of a saint. He agreed! Bruce does absolutely beautiful, concise work. There are no words to thank him for all the extra work he did to make my home a safe place. Patti always kept me informed and checked in with Bruce daily. Our 50+ year-old split level house needed a makeover of the upstairs bedrooms and living room. The job included staining and installation of interior doors, casings, window sills, and baseboards, and painting walls and ceilings. The scheduling was complicated, because we wanted to live in the house while work was done. Everything was completed on schedule, and the crew were friendly and respectful. The job was well-done, and I would recommend this company.

My experience with build zoom was excellent! I contacted Build Zoom and filled out the request for a contractor for my project. They did all the homework for me. I was contacted shortly from a senior consultant with the contractors name. The contractor contacted me immediately. We discussed the project and agreed on terms and my porch enclosure was beginning!
The contractors helped me make this project efficient, used durable products, and great lighting with window placement, the enclosure feels so comfortable! In the future I would like to have another porch enclosure and plan to use Zoom Build contractors again!

My project was to replace a back door stairway that was only 2 steps plus the landing. Upon demolition rot was discovered. Best 1 Solutions was easy, helpful, accommodating, and most importantly patient as we figured out what the best design would be to fit the limited space. The job was completed quickly and it looks great, and I chose high quality materials so they should last a very, very long time. They charged a fair price and I will probably hire them for other projects.

The power washing started as planned, but very little was done. After that first day, it took over 3 weeks for them to return and complete before painting. Doing that time, there were plenty of good days for painting and extending the driveway. The weather turned for the worst and it took another so many weeks to finish up.

There was a long lead time for the window. The installed window was missing grid. A new window with grid was ordered. Another long lead time.

The driveway extension was nicely done. However, extra cost for cleanup. Removal of dirt and edging was not included in price which I didn’t expect...so ask questions.

In conclusion, the overall work was good. I recommend that the general contractor do a better job at explaining the details as to when the job will start and end. Also, include or say if cleanup will be or not included in price.

We are very happy with Best 1 solutions. Patti is an excellent scheduler and always prompt in her responses to my questions. Terry does quality work emphasizing detail. All in all I found Best One to be our best choice for this project.

Patti and her crew were great to work with. They completed a tough kitchen and dining room remodel, including wood flooring. The project was on time and I was very happy with the overall cost of the project!

We had pipe providing water to our washing machine burst which flooded our laundry room and caused water damage to our subfloor. From our first meeting I found Patti to be a receptive listener and quick to understand our situation. She offered very sound advice and made several notes of our conversation. She said Best 1 Solutions has been doing these types of repairs for several years and was confident they could fulfill our needs. Patti was very accommodating with scheduling and coordinating project and starting date. Once work started it progressed at an even rate with only one delay due to an unexpected hail storm that ruined a linoleum flooring template that they were able to replace the following week. As for timeliness, Terry and Bruce showed up exactly when the said they would. They are very hard workers and attention to detail is outstanding!! The took extreme care with our appliances make sure they were protected during the work. Patti kept in constant communication with me and provided me updates as the project went along. Since our project was just completed I have as of yet not received the final bill. Patti is working on it. I will provide another update once all the book keeping is completed.

Our house needed completely new siding due to rot and Termite infestation. We decided to replace the majority of the old siding with fiber cement boards since the house in in the shade of trees and does not get enough sunlight. The house itself is of an unusual design making the renovation work rather complex.
Best 1 Solutions was able to tackle this problem in an excellent way. We are extremely pleased with the final result, our house looks like a new built after all the good work. I am happy to recommend Best 1 Solutions to my friends.

Job was well done. Communication was important to us, because some of us work at home, and coordinating construction times mattered. We made several little changes and took Terry and Patti's suggestions to change our design plans a bit, and the result was better than expected! We love our new sun room!

Outstanding ideas. I have chosen Best 1 Solutions for my project. Great ideas for my bathroom. Really listened to me, and had great information!!

I hired Best 1 Solutions to remove a Cinderblock wall in my house. As it gave me two half living rooms, I hated the thing and wanted it to go.

Right now in this market, getting anyone to even respond is almost a hassle, but they did right away. They worked well with me and worked quickly and efficiently, and were happy to answer any of the questions I had.

While a couple minor mistakes were made, they were things that were easily remedied. For example, a piece of the concrete wall managed to somehow work its way under the protection they had carefully laid down and gouged my laminate flooring.

When we discovered this, they were mortified, and offered me a discount on the bill way more than it would have cost for me to fix it.

As they were comfortable enough for me to be there during the whole project and were happy to let me watch, I'll tell you they were VERY careful about laying down the protection and that rock is still a mystery.

So 5/5 stars. Would hire to demolish walls again.

Contacted us quickly. Had a fair bid. Did work within a week and left us the extra paint and stain for our deck. Also did follow up contact.

We needed some new track lighting installed and some outlets looked at for why they weren't working well. Patti and Bruce gave us a bright kitchen and working outlets at that is exactly what we wanted.

Good communication, but was booked out a ways and couldn't get anyone out to take a look for a couple weeks.

Our leaky chimney surround needed replacing. Best 1's bid was good, they started work the day following signing the contract, and finished the work with the single day time frame. Patti is an excellent communicator, cared about our project, and stayed in touch throughout the entire process. Can't give 5 stars because we don't know whether the fix worked as leaky only shows in stormy weather.

We tiled the fireplace surround, hearth and adjoining wall.
Contractor made contact with me on the same day I put in a request, was out to do estimate within 24 hours and we had a full estimate by the end of the week!
Professional tile setter Terry was on the job the following Monday.
Before starting work, Terry discussed what we wanted and made great suggestions for tile layout that improved our results.
Terry prepared the area putting up plastic surrounding the area to keep dust down. Terry brought in help for demolition work and got it done quickly.
Contractor Patti came by on the second day to check on progress and to answer any questions.
Terry's work was precise and meticulous. The tile we chose was heavy and required extra time for setting and curing. Terry worked carefully ensuring that everything set properly.
Throughout the project Terry consulted with us on details so that we got exactly what we wanted.
When the project was completed, Patti came back to inspect the work and spent several hours cleaning the area! To us, that was above and beyond expectations.
We have had three or four remodeling projects over the past two years and working with Patti and Terry was the most satisfying project of all!

I had a rental house that I needed to sell in a short of time. It needed many cosmetic fixes, in the kitchen, new cabinets, countertops, flooring.. Bathroom vanity, new sinks,faucets,and shower.. And the bedrooms new windows, carpeting and paint.. Pergo floors in the living room kitchen area and family room.., Exterior and interior painting. Best 1 Solutions gave us fair pricing and very reliable.. After each day's work they cleaned up and kept things tidy. I referred them to our neighbors and family.

I found that Patti was quick to answer my questions about the work that I was thinking about having done. The work involved bracing the timbers supporting the roof in my attic. Unknown to me previous roofers had thrown too much weight upon the roof and actually cracked some of the timbers. The work that I had done corrected the roof and took care of some water leaks I had due to the damaged timbers. I would recommend them in the future. I was happy with the work and the insight I gained from previous work done incorrectly.

I found Patti to be very responsive to phone calls and emails. The part of hiring them and getting the contract signed went very quickly. I was told that the project was going to last 10 days and due to staffing issues it took more like 17 days. The only issue I had with that is I had wanted downtime between this project and another project we had going on this summer. Terry, the actual installer of the stone and siding, was very courteous and always made sure the job site was kept clean and tidy when he ended for the day. Overall, yes, I would recommend this contractor. I would just suggest that everyone is clear on expectations and deadlines and the project should go smoothly! The second project was for exterior paint so the combination of the new siding and paint make the house look amazing. We're very happy.
