I don't know if we were met with a sham, but we never heard from this "Mike" guy everyone keeps talking about. The salespeople/contractors that came out to our place were of questionable credibility and offered very steep pricing. They also tried to "recommend" cheap building materials at a ridiculous and highly arbitrary inflated rate, and were very pushy about making a deal. When asked for contact information, they tried to divert and delay us from getting a real answer.

I am doing an all-out condo remodeling, paint walls, ceilings, bathroom / new tile shower, some electric work / rewire, plumbing/ re-pipe, new kitchen cabinets, absolutely everything.
Mike has been there for me from day one, and has tuned into my needs in absolutely every aspect of my project. What I specifically liked about him was that he is not afraid to disagree with me, and it has saved me from making a few wrong turns along the project!
At this point I wouldn't trust anyone more than ​Mike who has shown to be not just an extremely lovable and caring human being but also outstanding at what he is doing. This of course also includes his team which doesn't appear to be a random group of on-the-fly hires but are very much tuned in with the total operation and constantly do work for him. Everyone seems to love their work, and things get done fast. In the middle of the project I had a friend come by - he had just done a similar job with someone else - and we both just looked in awe at the perfection that went into the plumbing work. That was the final confirmation that I was in the right hands.
There is a lot more positive I could add but I think you get the idea. All in all very good and very affordable on top!

I am a new homeowner and wanted some work done before moving in - walls and ceilings smoothed and painted and new floors put in (latter by a different team). Ami came out promptly at the scheduled time in order to inspect the job and provide an estimate. He was incredibly transparent about the numbers, and worked with me to bring the job down within my budget. Throughout the process of scoping and executing the project, he responded to every email, text message, and phone call - and there were a lot! He scheduled the work around the other contractors coming in and out so that I could move in as quickly as possible. He had helpful suggestions on colors and lighting (on short notice, we decided to put in recessed lighting, which one of the guys on his team handled perfectly, coming in on Saturday to do the work so we wouldn't fall behind schedule). Ami even lent me some equipment so that I could help with the work on weekends to bring down my costs.
The end result is amazing (I've gotten so many compliments!) and he took all the stress out of the process.

If you are looking for a good interior and exterior painting contractor I recommend that you get in touch with Mike and his crew at Best Guy Development. They painted the living room, dining room stairway and outside the house and did a fantastic job. Mike is knowledgeable, responsible and fast.
He will give you a free fair estimate, set schedule and stick to it.
When they were working in the house they were respectful of my space and were very careful about protecting my furnishing and art work. They sanded and stripped an old banister on my staircase that looked just awful because all the coats of paint on it and made it look like brand new. It was unbelievable work because it looks so good.
He also fixed a spot above my kitchen windows on the exterior of the house that was leaking when it rained to get me threw the rainy season.
Mike is easy person to work with, friendly and the guys that work for him are nice too!
It was a pleasure having him around, I will recommend him to my friends and family!

The owner mike and his team did an amazing job remodeling my kitchen! They sat with me and helped me hand pick my cabinets and finishings. They finished the job in a timely manner and left everything spotless once they were done. I have already recommendedy family and friends to best buy! I'm anxious to see how their projects turn out.
