    Do not use this contractor!
    We made the mistake of hiring Lewis Arevalo with Better Building Services to complete renovations to our home. We had worked with this company before and he had done work for our family as well, so we did not do the online research that I would normally do before choosing a contractor. I wish that I had done the research, this is not the same company that it used to be. Check the BBB and other sites like Yelp and you will see what it is like to work with this guy. We gave him a total of $4,500 on a $10,500 contract that was supposed to take 3-4 weeks. From the date they actually started until 4 weeks later, about 5% of the job was completed. Over the course of those 4 weeks, they worked on our house 4 days. Meanwhile our house is sitting there with half textured walls and no window coverings because we never knew when they were going to finish. To make it worse, Lewis lied to us repeatedly, ‘I will be there tomorrow’, ‘We will be there on Monday, I promise’. I literally cannot count the number of times this guy lied to us, but it has to be over 10. After 4 weeks of this, we called Lewis and told him we are ending the contract due to lack of progress (didn’t even mention all the lying). He agreed to cancel the contract and give us a partial refund. He said that he would go over the numbers and give us a callback that night with the refund amount. Guess what happened next? Yep, no phone call. I have since asked for my money back, but have not gotten one penny back. Now I have to sue him. I work hard for my money. To have someone like this steal it from me..... upsets me. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.

    Remodel

    I can not recommend this company whatsoever. I'm in business and understand ups and downs but they consistently don't do what they say and my 30 day remodel is now almost 10 months and hardly anything been done. I've been getting the runaround for several months. Don't be fooled by the cheap estimates.
