  Demolish/Excavation of old concrete pool deck, filling area with topsoil, and grass seeding area.

  We hired Better Way Excavating this past fall to demolish, and remove old concrete pool decking from our property. They were the best priced quote we received out of several. Scott did a very professional job on the project. The project consisted of removing old concrete pool deck, and hauling away, as well as filling in the old pool and deck area with topsoil, which was then seeded with grass seed. Scott did the entire project in just two days, and as promised. He excavated and had hauled a lot of concrete from the site. He also went above and beyond doing some additional work we requested, which consisted of removing the pool filters, hand saw cutting of concrete that was close to a wall, removal of some tree/shrub roots that were near the old deck, etc. We would highly recommend Better Way Excavating to anyone looking for excavating, or demolition work.

  Install drainage pipes on our property that went down to our pond.

  $8,000

  We hired these guys in June for 2 jobs. The most important and expensive job was to "Install a 30ft precast drain pipe from our drive down to our pond to remove surface water" that kept us from mowing our acerage. It does not work. In fact it's somehow swampier than it was before. We cant even use a push mower so once again we are in danger of housing copperhead snakes which love to hang out in the soupy tall grass around our pond. Ive called these guys 4 times (they screen calls at all times) and I've never had a return call. This is not cheap work and its a dangerous situation. I want to give people a heads up. I am now forced to waste time and energy in an attempt to hold this company responsible for their work, or lack there of. I must now....
  1- Leave honest reviews, 2-Report to BBB, 3- File a complaint with the liscencing board, 4- Use social media platforms to air my grievances, 5- contact my credit card company to see where I stand on purchase protection, 6- Possibly even sue through Small Claims court.
  I've attached photos to help you better arm yourself before you decide to let this company onto your own propery and bill you for thousands. The photos were taken from my drive and show some of the pooled up water on the ground. The pond is just behind the trees there. Good luck!
