This is my personal experience: 100% honest review about The company , the owner and the experience and result of using this company. I hired David Sassounian dba Big Fix Construction on June 18th 2025 to complete some work in my Guesthouse and backyard. David came off nice at first . That lasted about two days. After that his true colors came out aggressive, volatile, dishonest, completely unprofessional. He has serious anger issues and would snap on site in front of people, yelling, cussing, smoking weed, and taking his shirt off while working. It got so uncomfortable that I didn’t even feel safe letting him near my family. I paid him over $70,000 and he left my property in complete disaster. He caused a fire, failed 6+ city inspections, and walked off the job without finishing anything. Every real contractor I’ve brought in since said the work he did is so unsafe it all has to be demolished and rebuilt from scratch. I also received multiple violation for unsafe work for his framing, window installation, and electrical work, which will only need to be ripped off in the entire job needs to restart from zero. He demanded large illegal upfront payments, then kept asking for more money with zero progress. he will give you every story in the book and bug you for more and more money, When I started questioning him, he turned hostile. He even threatened me and my family, tried to retaliate by calling the city and CPS with false accusations, and stole my city approved building plans, refusing to return them. I’ve lost over $150,000 fixing his mess not even counting the emotional toll this took on my family. If you want proof I have receipts, photos, inspection reports, expert opinions, texts everything. I’ll gladly show anyone who’s thinking about hiring him. The work he did wasn’t just bad it was straight-up Mickey Mouse, unsafe, not up to code and in my opinion it should be considered criminal. I also just found out that he didn't pay his subcontractors. That's so sad and horrible. Do yourself a favor: RUN from Big Fix Construction and David Tavit Sassounian. Save your money, your home, and your sanity. He operates like a scam artist and his behavior was absolutely criminal in nature. I have proof of everything I am saying and happy to show you everything.

Looking at these reviews from 2013 to about 2016 I can see that maybe in that time he was good because in 2019 to 2021 and current I would say he is below zero. I would never actually I would never refer your he takes extremely advantage of a client such as my mother whose 85-87 was 85 at the time. Please speak to your bank always make sure everything is copacetic and that he has insurance and he's bonded . Tavit,the owner doesn't give a professional bid there's no document reg: a legal contract. His work was atrocious all rooms at kitchen bath all white flat I'm not trying to clean please we have to repaint 3 rooms. We did an electrical upgrade at about $11,000 do I have a small back house that is still connected to the front house as well as our backyard which he didn't know electrical so we only have two outlets throughout the whole backyard and one back room for $11,000. . I would never ever and all my years I would never suggest Tavit Big Fix conception or his crew. Enclosing please pay attention to his labor for California state code he charges for $0.04 more than what they can as 2 Live Crew I want to try this on top of his neighbor so he absolutely ripped you off takes advantage on your contract please know your prices do a cost out get three estimates.
