Permits
- Building permit records show that Big Mountain Heating & Air Inc has worked on 2500 permitted projects.
Took their offer of a low-priced checkup. 1/2 of the items that should have been checked were skipped. When the checkup is over, i asked the tech if he can look into the ductless split system that i have leaking Freon from the inside. He promised to fix it so i let him start working on it.
when he was done, he gave me what he called (a great deal). He ended up charging me almost $900.00 for less than an hour work. He fooled me by make me believe that only a 1/3 part of the amount went to actual repair (which i thought it was a great deal), and the remaining $600 is used to prepay a 4-year full maintenance on my rooftop A/C. I thought i found the right company to handle my A/C needs.
Two weeks later, the ductless system stopped cooling. When i called them, they told me that what the tech fixed is the external leak, not the internal. For your information, in the past 3 years, i have paid over $3,000 to fix the external leak (payable to 4 different contractors), now the S.O.B***H charged me for something that he knew it was not the problem (because i told him before he started).
To prove they are service oriented, they offered to remove the internal compressor so i can send it to factory to replace under warranty BUT THEY WANTED $2,700 TO REMOVE IT, AND ANOTHER $2,700 TO INSTALL THE REPLACED ONE.
They are the example of what a phony operation in my opinion is!
