Bill Castellon created a Japanese rock garden for our home in November 2011. During his initial consultation, he presented an innovative approach regarding the garden design. As we have a large kitchen front window, Bill envisioned having the garden view oriented for our enjoyment, rather than for the passersby. In addition, he suggested planting three Japanese maples on a berm to provide some privacy, since we live on a busy street adjacent to a school.
Bill's skillful placement of boulders,as well as selection of suitable shrubs, grasses, and trees, transformed our front yard into a beautiful and serene Japanese rock garden. He was directly involved in the work, had a good crew, finished the project in the proposed time, cleaned up well, and has remained available for questions.
Throughout the day, when we are in the kitchen preparing and having our meals, we enjoy our garden through the window. Sometimes, I sit and relax on a boulder, while watching grandkids out front. My husband and I give Bill our highest recommendation, and would absolutely call him again for future work.
