My experience was horrible. I met Bill Dolan and had several conversations with him. He was pleasant, attentive and clear on what the job entailed. Most importantly, he was ready to get started. I expressed the fact that I had to meet city requirements I needed someone with licenses and who could pull permits. After going to L & I and speaking to the representative, L & I indicated that Bill Dolan did not have the necessary requirements to do work on city buildings. In an attempt to clear up what I thought was a misunderstanding, I called and left him a message detailing what the representative told me. After that phone call, I attempted to call Bill but to no avail. When I finally did reach him, he sent me a dismissive text/email stating that he was on vacation. I impatiently waited a few days until he was off vacation. I called him again at which time he indicated that he did not want the job because he did not want to deal with the city's requirements. When I indicated that he wasted my time (almost a month's worth), he stated that he was sorry and that he was going through something. This contractor wasted a month of my time and caused me to miss my deadline by the city and now I am facing fines all because I trusted Bill Dolan Masonry Restoration. Don't hire, in fact, don't even start to trust me, you will be sorry especially if you are on a timeline!
