  About 2 yrs ago we needed a small electrical job done quickly, so I called Bill Hodge, who lives right in my township. He sent one of his crew over right away & all went well. I got to talking to Bill about some bigger future projects I was thinking about & he was very helpful in making suggestions & answering my questions. In early spring 2022, he came by to finalize the plans & write up an estimate. He spent a lot of time at the house -- the exchange & rapport between us were always very friendly & professional. Once I got his proposal, I contacted him with a couple of minor questions, while confirming that I definitely wanted to schedule the work with him. Then -- nothing. I called & emailed several times -- no response from Bill. I frequently saw his trucks in my neighborhood, so I know his business was still up & running. To give him the benefit of the doubt, I even waited this long to post a review in case he decided to finally act like the professional he's supposed to be. Did he want to give priority to a "bigger" customer? Then why not just tell me that, or even make up a phony excuse? I'd be more than willing to update this review if warranted, but until then, I wouldn't consider Bill Hodge trustworthy or dependable.
  Btw, I found another local electrical contractor who did a great job & was more reasonable.

  Hodge electric had done work for us in the past that was excellent in quality. Unfortunately, we have needed help with the Universal Transfer Switch that was installed. We called both the electrician who installed it and Bill Hodge Electrical Contractors several times to no avail. No return call, no message, nothing. I would not recommend using this contractor because as you can see the return service is absolutely nil. He got one star because there is no option for no stars.
