    I have used Daniel Messina many times. He is a wonderful and professional business owner. He assisted me with the flip of several houses from 2009-2011. Although they are no longer open they offered me amazing quality results and I am very happy I found them when I Did.

    I have spoke to Daniel Recently to ask him to do work on on of my investment properties,
    I was told that Billdan closed in April,

    Beware!!!!! does not do the work he is contracted to do. His subs came to me after the job asking for payment as he did not pay them and they would not finish the job. Chasing him now for various refunds.

    BEWARE! BEWARE!

    I saw Daniel Messina's work on HGTV's flip or flop and contacted him for a remodel project. He was very responsive and gave us a very competitive bid. Almost too good to believe. Unfortunately, I believed.

    After some diligence, we signed a contract. He asked for a 10% deposit in order to guarantee us a start date, which was two months later. He said he had just signed a $6M contract and would be busy for the next two months but gave me his word (as well as signed a contract saying) that he would start in two months. Yet, for someone that was so busy, he was able to cash my check the next day! Already a bad sign.

    A few weeks before the start date, I contacted Dan trying to square away details and make sure that we would be on schedule. After numerous attempts, and no response, he only contacted a day before XMas (a few days before the start date) to tell me that he would NOT be able to do the work because he was so busy. Completely unprofessional. Had I not contacted him, he would not have even bothered himself to let us know that he would be breaching the contract. If he was this busy, then he should have known way ahead of time, not a few days before our project after my numerous unanswered texts. He should have also BY DEFAULT (and according to the terms of the contract) returned our deposit immediately.

    Yet, it's now been weeks that I've DEMANDED that my deposit be returned. Dan Messina has made excuse after excuse and has yet to give us the refund. It took him ONE DAY to cash our check yet he's unable to process the refund after several weeks.

    I expect to be contacting the Licensing agencies as well launching a lawsuit to get my a full refund. This is completely unacceptable. Maybe his new business is now cashing deposits for "work" that he never intends to do. If that's the case, he crossed the wrong individual given that I'm an attorney at law who is more than happy to bring to light any shady practice.

    BEWARE. Don't get fooled by his supposed "work" on HGTV. Dan Messina has done nothing but show me that he can't be trusted.

    i have contacted him about a nsf check and u to now he has ignored my attempt to collect the debt ,of 900 dollars of two jobs we did for his company,
    i am a subcontractor
    we had no choice but we will take them to court

    They ripped us off and they dont pay their sub-contractors. They find many excuses for not paying. Then they ignore and hangup on attempts to call and contact them.
