  I hired Billy on July 1, 2020. Per our contract he would have an additional room built with plumbing, electrical, windows and sliding door installed bathroom remodeled, and walk through closet remodeled and completed within 6 weeks. Day after day there were issues including 4 people stealing and one of those I found passed out/sleeping in my living room. Windows and sliding door were installed incorrectly along with not being the correct door or height. I was without hot water in my guest shower for 3 months. I let this go because it was summer and I could deal with it. He wanted to tear out he wall in my guest bathroom to find the problem which I already knew was unrelated. I would've had no shower at all. One of his subcontractors told me Billy only wanted to do this to get more money out of me. I hired another plumber who found the problem within 5 minutes and had it fixed in an hour. Sheetrock was installed over an electrical outlet which was also installed incorrectly. Electrician had to remove 2 sections of wall to find the outlet. At least 7 other electrical outlets were either incorrectly installed and/or would not be allowed by code. One wall where a door was to be installed was taken down, put back up, and then taken down again. Plumbing for sink was installed at incorrect height. Another plumber had to remove parts of the wall to raise the p-trap and will have to, again, remove part of the wall to change the height for the wall mounted faucet. Everything including floor, walls, shower tiles, doors, etc is not level. It will cost me more to hire other contractors to demo, build and/or repair what was left uncompleted or installed incorrectly. Barn doors are hung crooked. I will have to replace doors and hardware. The shower will possibly need to be torn out and retiled as there are hollow spots, cracks, and holes in the grout. I purchased a custom shower door and wall. The owner told me he would hang it but couldn't guarantee that the tiles would hold. I am out $2296 as when a new shower is installed the measurements will likely change due to it being a tightly sealed area. Another tile installer told me if it was his shower he would never step foot in it. The steam and heat of the shower will eventually not hold the heavy ceiling tiles (which may only be grouted to sheetrock and not hardy board) and the grout will give way, hopefully while I'm not in the shower. Due to water spewing between an interior and exterior wall I was concerned about black mold. One of his dads employees broke a brick out of the exterior wall to allow the water to drain. By the time he arrived the water had soaked into the walls. Billy told me that I would have to hire someone with a camera to have it checked out. The brick work was never repaired. There is also damage to 2 window screens that are less than a year old. Another contractor showed me the difference in types of paint. The incorrect type was used on the closet shelves and can easily be scratched off. The walls were painted incorrectly at least 4 times by 3 different people when I told Billy I would do it myself. I was told by one of his subcontractors that he said just to "slap it up there" and that is what they did. I also gave Billy 16 heavy duty insolated cases in exchange to replace 3 outdoor faucets and install one. The work on these has not been completed. Billy also drew incorrect amounts and not at an agreeable time off my credit card without permission. After 6 weeks Billy was telling me and continues to tell me that everything would be completed in 10 days. After 3.5 months and much discussion about the above mentioned items I fired Billy and the entire crew. Billy started calling and texting me last week while I was at work. When I did not return his calls and texts he sent me a message threatening that he would sue me by 5 PM on Monday, December 7, 2020 for libel and slander if I didn't remove my negative review on BBB and another website. Accreditation Suspension: On 03/23/2021 this business's accreditation in the BBB was suspended.
