Awful. Bait and switch. Not a builder by trade but a house flipper. Has no idea what he is talking about. Does not understand structural issues and underbids construction. When things get complicated he tries to shift additional cost onto client. Pays his subcontractors very little and their work shows. Building inspector appalled at poor planning and quality of work.

We hired Matt as General Contractor for our house project in Southampton. We have had to repair plumbing (toilets clogged with concrete, new pipes installed broken and leaking, shower pan not sealed and leaked into bedroom below), electrical (incomplete installation so WE needed to hire an electrician to finish the work paid for), pool filter needed correcting, septic system not installed correctly. I paid this BS artist additional money for a timely (not earlier than promised) completion only to not have a gas line installed. I could go on but please know BJC Contracting is not the company for your project.
