It is hard to put into words how much I DO NOT RECCOMEND GARDEN CENTER OF LAS CRUCES, BLACK ROCK DEVELOPMENT LLC. The owner Jesus Palma and manager Megan Guerra will tell you what you want to here and rarely follow up and not meet any deadline they tell you. They were both at our home August 6th to assure us that they would be out to finally complete work in two weeks. Yesterday I received a call that it would be delayed again till the following week.
We, wife and I, contracted with Garden Center for a pool and landscaping in September of 2024. The contract was to be completed by March of 2025. It is now August 22, 2025, and neither the pool nor landscaping has been completed. (see pictures)
They have consistently misrepresented what would happen. Their estimates on costs have been ridiculously underestimated. This has cost us thousands of dollars.
Their original electrical sub-contractor was NOT licensed. His work was shoddy and dangerous. All the electrical work had to be redone at our expense.
We have been adding chemicals to the unfinished pool but with no circulation it is a losing battle. Our pool is now a swamp.
What should have been a summer enjoying our new pool with friends and family has instead been an infuriating and frustrating mess!
