Blake Shaw Homes, Inc took $144,000 of our money for a home renovation, however, he walked off the job, will no longer communicate, and owes us most of this money back as he did NOT complete the projects he was paid for. He also lied to us about maintaining possession of the key to our home (he gave it to subcontractors) and he NEVER paid his subcontractors for work done on our home leaving us exposed to liens. He added items to our contract which he had no intention of providing but used it to leverage a larger draw check. He demanded payment up front on services he did not provide. He delivered substandard and unusable cabinets that he discarded into a dumpster after storing in our home for months. He did not deliver the entirety of cabinets that he was PAID IN FULL for. He claimed he obtained structural engineer reports which was per our contract, but refused to provide these when demanded by us. He removed headers/beams without a report causing structural movement to our home.
