    Rebuild
    $76,205

    Was hired to demolish and rebuild my in-laws home after the 2015 Garland tornado destroyed it. They are a retired couple that served the community for decades. Brian never completed the work, had every excuse known to man for delays and no-shows and eventually he just stopped coming and calling back.

    Another contractor had to be hired to finish the work. They also had to be paid to fix numerous building code violations Brian left behind in the work he did finish.

    We are the Asset Managers and owners of the NOVA Medical Center located at 5900 Interstate 20, West Arlington, TX 76017. We have contracted with Brian Lee Hardin DBA: BLH Building Inc. for parking lot repair/construction and several other items. Hardin signed numerous documents regarding a contract for services and construction. We have cancelled checks in the amount of $10,250.00 and $5,200.00. Based on our conversation and several discussions with other property owners that are in the same predicament, it appears that Brian has no intention of completing the project.

    Verified Hire

    No I definitely would not recommend this builder to anyone. He took $56,00.00 from me and never even started the job. Lied and said he had a permit to build and he had never filled out an application for a permit. He sent me a picture of himself saying he was at the City of Grand Prairie just leaving and it was just that, a picture. It's been a year now and he still haven't built my house. He always has excuses for not starting my house.

    My experience was HORRIBLE with Brian Hardin and BLH BUILDING INC. I signed a contract with this contractor in November of 2017. He demolished the old house, left cement blocks and steps on the lot. Never completely cleared the property. In his contract he stated all things would be gone in good faith. He showed no good faith an anything he said. He knew I was building the house for an older relative because the house they were living in was not a decent dwelling place. He promised me the house would be built in 18 months . After 18 months the land was still not completed cleared off and to this date 10/26/2018 . He is a fast talking con-man. He didn't even have a building permit. He had the nerve to take a picture of himself standing in front of the Grand Prairie City code building telling me he was just leaving the place to get a permit. I checked with Grand Prairie after a few days to see how the permit was coming along and I was informed that he had never placed an application for a builders permit, on a demolition permit in March of 2018. I talked to him again along with my banker and he said he was at the desk getting the builders permit. Which was another lie. He even gave us the person's name. well, I called her back and she said she knew him but again there is not even a building permit application on file.
    Brian Hardin stole $56,000.00 from me all together. Well the person I was getting the house passed in May of 2018 and I ask Brian if he would please get started on the project. He always had an excuse such as the kids are sick, he is having to take a stool specimen to the hospital for his 15 year old daughter. He said he had been in Michigan working at a Military base for months. He even said his back was hurt after he ran out of excuses and said he probably couldn't work anymore. He has changed his number or blocked me from calling him and his assistant is not picking up any calls from me. Her name is Michelle Cottraux. I sent him 3 Certified letters and he has not responded to the letters. At this point I know he will not respond. when I ask for references all the numbers he gave nobody ever answered and his story was these are very busy business people and they didn't have time to call. I would leave messages and nobody would even return my calls. Perhaps these were his own numbers. I have another contractor that was recommended from a personal source. I am writing this review because I don't want anybody else to have to go through a scam like I did. I have already contacted Buildzoom and got no response from them either. RUN DON'T WALK AWAY FROM HIM!!!
