I had planned to hire Bliss on Tap Painting and had prepaid $1100 deposit on a $3300 job to paint multiple rooms in a new addition. Construction was delayed and Bliss on Tap was not able to make my new dates, so I asked them to paint the 20 foot x 10 foot wall that WAS ready. Mike, Marlene, and Katrina came to my home, looked at the wall, and told me it would cost $400 and they would refund the rest of my deposit. Katrina came the next day and spent 2 hours painting. Shortly after, they invoiced me $900, more than double what was quoted. Since I had prepaid the deposit, I could not get my money back. Even though they had put in an email that they had said the job would cost $400, my credit card can only handle disputes related to billing and invoices, not verbal or email discussions. Do NOT trust these people! They effectively stole $500 from me!

The owner uses Glidden paint which peels and is horrible exterior paint. He says in his contract that he uses Sherman Williams which has a warranty! He was banned from smokey point Sherman Williams for foul language and threats. He hasn't bought Sherman Williams paint since 2023! He lies and uses foul language and claims to be a Christian! He isn't able to get a license so he uses his wife for that. Don't hire him or get inferior paint job and paint. When asked years of experience for individual painters he said it was none of my business when that is my business.
