The only reason I’ve given Blue Chip Corp (BCC) one star is because there isn’t an option to give zero stars. In 2012, BCC’s subcontractors did a good job renovating my kitchen and bath, so in 2013, I contracted with BCC for a porch renovation and window and storm door installation. What a disaster! I will have to hire another contractor to redo all of the work done by BCC. The work performed under BCC’s direction was poorly done (example, a “finished” window that completely fell out of the wall one night), potentially dangerous (example, covering electrical connections with a finished bead board ceiling), and disrespectful (example, taking a $1400 deposit for new patio doors with a promise of purchasing doors costing about $1200 but instead, BCC installed $700 doors). Even more aggravating, attempts to meet with the owner of BCC to discuss concerns about the work being performed went unanswered. Save yourself the aggravation and heartache and avoid this company.
