PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!:
In my opinion, you should never, ever work with BLUE OX LLC / www.blueoxusa.com / Jim Turnbull / Lance McCool. In my opinion, they are not just unskilled and unqualified, they are scam artists.
I hired them for a $295k frame and siding project that was supposed to take 6 months, and as of one year later, the work was not only unfinished, but what was done was so shoddy, all of the siding has to be removed and redone.
They failed to properly waterproof their work, causing leaks into the house which destroyed drywall and insulation.
They stored high value hardboard siding outside, covered in snow, with no protective tarps, despite manufacturer guidelines, and left the waterproofing membrane exposed for 2-3 times as long as the manufacturer recommends.
They left the job site in total disarray, covered in trash, with hundreds of nails all over the property.
Long story short, all of their work is complete garbage.
They do not have the ability to manage their business, employees, or projects like adult professionals. They are little children masquerading as big boys running a big boy business. They have no place building homes.
They should be ashamed and embarrassed, and we will be pursuing justice in a court of law.
DO NOT HIRE THESE CLOWNS!
