We had a cement patio built last summer by Blue Premium Construction. We are very happy with the results and will be calling on them again to do more work for us.

The sidewalk from my driveway to the door needed to be replaced. The owner suggested adding an apron on it at the driveway to bring it level with the driveway. I declined, and he put it in anyway. It now causes the water from a gutter downspout to pool up between the top of the driveway to the soil at one edge. It was then necessary to find my own remedy to correct this at additional expense. The sidewalk itself has several obvious flaws. In addition, only the largest pieces of old concrete were removed. He and his crew broke up the rest of the old concrete and buried a thick layer of rocks and gravel under a 20ft x 30ft wide expanse of top soil, including the soil around a treasured tree. When I contacted him afterwards to remove this debris, he and his team removed the limited amount I had already raked into a pile and left the rest. The front yard took on the appearance of a graveled southwest desert landscape, without a trace of the grass that had been there. It then became necessary to hire another firm at additional expense to scrape off and remove the substantial debris which included enriched topsoil. I will never use this firm again or recommend it to anyone else.
