    New patio & deck

    I highly recommend Blue Star Carpentry and Kevin Florinda. Kevin is very professional with an eye for detail. Very easy to work with and kept within my budget. Measured my patio and deck and sent me an itemized estimate and detailed sketch of the patio and deck. No hidden costs. The men & crews who came were the best! Knew exactly what had to be done and were expert. It took only 3 days to clean away my 35yr old wooden patio and the flag stones under it and replace it with a new beautiful paver patio. It took only another 3 days to clean away my old deck and replace it with a new trek deck. Wonderful crews. Couldn’t be happier. Can’t wait for the Spring to buy the furniture and start enjoying it. An absolute pleasure to do business with this company.

    Diligent, meticulous, and knowledgeable is how we describe our experience with Kevin and his team at BlueStar Carpentry. We had several bids for the work on our balcony deck. Kevin's was not the highest or lowest, but he listened intently to what we wanted and needed. Then with Kevin's direction, Mike, Vinny and Kevin beautifully rebuilt our balcony...it was just what we envisioned. We love the finished product and are thankful we chose Kevin and his professional team. We highly recommend them and are looking forward to working with BlueStar Carpentry again in the near future.

    Rebuild a deck

    My experience working with Blue Star Carpentry was awesome!!!. I feel so lucky to have found them. I would highly recommend them!!!! I had another contractor rebuild my Azek deck. It was built incorrectly, I could not get my deck covered under the warranty. The railing was upside down, inferior gate, steps not to code, gaps between railing and posts. It was a mess. I hired Blue Star. Kevin is a perfectionist. He does quality work, so do his employees. He knows what he is doing and how it should be done. He does not settle for anything less. He listens to you and will make positive suggestions. He gets the job done. I love my deck, it looks great. He is HONEST, has Integrity and good values. He has YOUR best interest at heart. I cannot say enough about this contractor. He gave me peace of mind, because he is so thorough and goes above and beyond. If you are going to do your deck, this is the contractor to call.
