We had bob means out today and I’m not happy with the service they provided. They got us seen in a timely manner and the technician David was nice but the job didn’t get done. Our drain out to the sewer line was clogged told them that was what the problem was when I called as my husband had already snaked the toilet in our house and got nothing and that the clean out line was very full. At first they said they wouldn’t be able to come out until tomorrow so I took the appointment but called another local plumber who said he could not do the job, from me explaining it he could tell it was a large clog in the clean out line that would need an agor to take care of. While I was one the phone with him bob means called me back saying they had a cancellation and could come out today. Before I took the appointment I checked with Kelsey who I spoke with on the phone and made sure this was a job that bob means could handle since the other plumber said he would not be able to. Kelsey told me that it was a job they would be able to do as they have an agor that the technician would bring with him. So I had them come out David was nice told me that it was the outside line that was the problem and that he would need to use the agor he gave me a quote of $675, which we knew it would cost a good amount to fix the problem so we agreed. After an hour he knocked on the door saying he wasn’t able to clear the clog and unfortunately would still need to charge me the $675. He did wave the $67 service fee which was nice but with my drain still be clogged and my clean out line still being full I don’t think we should have had to pay the full $675 as we still had the same problem as before they got there and still had a bad clog. Had to call another company who had to jet blast the line. I don’t know if this was a job that was just too big for what bob means is able to do or what. But to be charged the full $675 when they didn’t fix the problem or even make it better I feel is completely not right. Would not recommend them from the experience we have had with them unless you want to pay for something they didn’t
