DON'T use Bobby Brannon Heating & AC!! There are so many companies to choose from. So save your money by taking my word and learning from my experience. The service was awful from the very first phone call to the last phone call. Nearly every employee I encountered was unprofessional, unfriendly, and incompetent. So what can you expect...
I purchased a home in Bossier City, LA, and before moving in I simply had Bobby Brannon Heating & AC accomplish the semi-annual service and install two float switches in the two HVAC drain pans. Simple, right?
Not for Bobby Brannon Heating & AC. On their work call the service technician checked the Freon levels and then FORGOT to put the cap back on the valve. The Freon leaked out! Oh, and then they completely forgot to install the float switches. So I had to have them come out JUST to accomplish this simple task. Get this....they just sat the float switches on the rim of the drain pans without attaching them at all to anything. You could simply flick them onto the floor. Meaning if you had a leak, the drain pan would fill and the float switches would simply float out and onto the floor, while your house flooded. So, I had to have Bobby Brannon Heating & AC come out for a third time. What if I had not checked the float switches were installed and were installed correctly? How often do you recheck all of your contractors work? Do you know as much as your contractor to check their work? Should you have to check all their work? NO! So do not use Bobby Brannon Heating & AC. Customer service...none. They were not apologetic. They acted as if this redo was standard protocol for them. It was apparent I was troubling them to accomplish the job they were paid to do, and to have done right.
So let's get back to their draining the Freon from my air conditioning system. In June I moved into the house to find that the air conditioning did not work correctly. I had to move into a house in 100+ deg of heat with 22,000lbs of boxes and furniture without air conditioning. Being that Bobby Brannon Heating & AC had just serviced the air conditioning system, I called them and asked them to check it out. They would not provide any advice over the phone and were eager to be paid for another service call and the cost of a system diagnostic. My sellers, as awesome as they were, bought me a home warranty plan. Not knowing if the problem was small or big, I felt protected with the home warranty. With Bobby Brannon Heating & AC's lack of willingness to help and the possibility that the entire air conditioning unit needed to be replaced, it now only made sense that I call my home warranty company. D & G air conditioning came out and within minutes discovered that BOBBY BRANNON HEATING & AC HAD LEFT THE FREON CAP OFF AND THE FREON LEAKED OUT. So, I paid my $75 service call to the home warranty company.
I then visited Bobby Brannon Heating & AC's store to inform them of their third mistake, and ONLY ask for reimbursement of the $75 service call fee. They were not willing to listen to anything negative about their company and demanded proof. So, I drove home and back to the store with the invoice and the contact information for D & G air conditioning. Now the owner (I use 'owner' loosely...someone of leadership) was not there and no one else would listen to me or look at my documentation. So, I left a copy of the invoice and I waited for a call back from the owner. It never came. So, I kept calling their office and finally after weeks I got a hold of the owner. All he wanted to do was bad mouth the other air conditioning company (including profanity), call them liars and incompetent, and state that his company couldn't make a mistake and that I couldn't prove otherwise.
This was a miserable experience that ended up costing me more money to pay for their mistakes. I do not recommend this company. They need to overhaul their company's attitude, customer service, and quality.
