Bodee Construction

Bodee was referred to me by Max Parangi, Architect, to do some structural work that was outside of the purview of my kitchen/bath contractor, as well as extensive decorative carpentry. Their crew got everything done very quickly and beautifully. Long story short, after 7 months, the kitchen/bath outfit STILL hadn't finished my kitchen or bathroom, getting me in deep doo-doo with co-op board who wanted the work stopped. After firing them, Bodee took over the entire job, and thanks to Majid, they coordinated with the subs, helped me order materials, picked up and installed appliances, even corrected the original company's mistakes and subpar workmanship, and brought it in for a landing in 30 days! Now I have the beautiful home I've been waiting for for the better part of a year, and I couldn't be happier. We are so pleased that we choose Bodee Construction to work on our kitchen remodel project. I will start at the end to say that the finished product is absolutely stunning and in large part due to the attention to all the little details and small touches and the experience of Majid to help us along the way. It was Majid and his teams’ expertise that provided excellent advice when encountering difficult choices or challenges given their years of experience in the business and we were happy to have that advice along the way. Majid was also very attentive throughout in returning calls and being in touch when needed and the office staff was very professional and kept up with emails and prompt replies throughout the process. The crew was also very easy to work with, pleasant, professional, and took care and attention to clean up the mess each day. Also, the walnut eating surface constructed by his carpenter is stunning and the centerpiece to the kitchen that has everyone’s attention and the subject of everyone’s comments.

Bodee Construction was an amazing partner throughout my entire kitchen remodel experience. This was my first major renovation project, and they were with me every step of the way. They connected me to trustworthy, kind and high quality suppliers (e.g. flooring, cabinets), helped with design, precipitated decisions I didn't even know I would need to make, and project managed everything beautifully. We ended on budget and in the timeframe discussed. They kept me informed along the way with frequent communication. They always kept their word. Lastly, it should not go without saying that their team were consummate professionals. The quality of the workmanship speaks for itself as well as the considerate approach the team took while in our home. I will be calling Bodee without hesitation for my next project.

I had a great experience with Bodee. The project manager/office staff were always on top of things. They were spot on with how long the project would be. Majid is incredibly knowledgeable and made good recommendations throughout. He steered me away from lesser quality kitchen cabinets and recommended a vendor who had exactly what I was looking for (I am in love with my kitchen now). Majid was always available when I had a question and the crew showed up every day they were supposed to. Whenever there was an issue or concern, they checked in with me or Majid before proceeding. They left the apartment clean every day even before I moved in. I ended up adding a few things to the scope of the project at the end which they were able to fit in and it really pulled the whole renovation together. They completely gut renovated the kitchen and bathroom, fixed the electric and installed new lighting in every room, and skim coated and painted the entire unit. I would definitely rehire Bodee Construction for future work.

We had a great experience customizing our new home with Bodee to make it fully functional for our family. Custom carpentry, flooring, and a room combination/wall removal were all exactly what we wanted without changing the character of an older house. Great communication throughout and it was terrific working with Majid and the team!

Overall it was a very stressful and bad experience.
We own a condo and had major remodeling. The day that we were going to move in I specifically asked them to finish one of the rooms so that we can sleep in there and they agreed however there wasn't much of an improvement than the last time we checked and the bathroom was left very disgusting. We literally had to ask them to do a specific part of the job and remind them several times because they keep forgetting. The customer service (Panteha) did not come up with a solution but instead became very defensive. We were waiting for the cabinets that was delayed so we asked them to finish the rest of the job except for the kitchen but they insisted to come when the cabinets arrived and even when it arrived they took long to finish the job. Not only that but they have damaged one of the cabinet leaving a hole and big junk of glue which left a mark after removing it, they also left some white glue on the counter top which is not removable...

We manage many multi-family condominium buildings throughout northern NJ and have interacted with many different contractors hired by individual unit owners. In my 35 years in the business, I have never dealt with an outfit as professional, organized, experienced, and knowledgeable as Bodee Construction. Their paperwork is perfect and timely, they show up when they say, the quality of the work is impeccable, and their experience and professionalism always come through. I wish every general contractor we interact with had their stuff together as well as Bodee Construction.

Absolutely yes. Majid is a pleasure to work with. Our kitchen looks beautiful as well as our half bath and foyer. He is now working on our dining room with plans of updating our family room and stairs as well.

Majid and his extremely hard working team turned a small outdated bathroom and poorly planned master bedroom with small closet into a truly luxurious suite with huge walk-in closet, sitting area, and tons of walk-in storage. The bathroom could be in a 5 star hotel. Panteha was so amazing to work with. She was extremely responsive, had amazing ideas and was able to stay in my budget- even finding less expensive items that looked better than some of the more expensive ones. They were able to tap in to my style and create the bathroom and master suite of my dreams. The workers were always so friendly and considerate, very often staying late (by our approval) to make sure the job was done. I will definitely be using Bodee for projects in the future and recommend them to everyone who asks.

Majid and his crew are simply the best. We were put into contact with Majid through Porcelanosa. Bodee Construction laid our new kitchen floor beautifully, and also repaired and painted two ceilings. They were attentive to detail, polite, and cleaned up afterwards. Majid also dealt with any small issues that came up,
