I couldn't have asked for a better experience with this entire process!!!! From my initial click on their website link for information, to having an amazing phone conversation with the sales rep almost immediately, to meeting with him as soon as the time was convenient for both of us, to making me feel so much more comfortable with designing my dream pool, picking the options, showing me so many different ways of creating my oasis, to going over the timeline, what to expect, to being so patient with my indecisions, my uncertainty, sometimes my desire to give up on such a pricey and unnerving project .... I am so excited to finally getting started and I can't wait to enjoy my beautiful pool!! I recommend Bonafide Pool Builders and I can guarantee that you are in great hands. Between their expertise, customer service, professionalism, amazing knowledge and outstanding prices and discounts, patience and guidance, you truly feel like you are much more than just a customer, you feel like you are a part of their family. This has been the worst experience I have ever had to deal with. I wish I had done my due diligence and read all reviews about this company before hiring this company, so much of what I have experienced was experienced by many of you. It has been over 21 months and my pool has not gotten past getting what looks like concrete added to it and that was done very very shitty. He has destroyed my lawn and I had tons of dirt in my backyard before I received a citation from the city about the waste land in my backyard, When I addressed the issue with the owner, he just took the dirt and put it in my front yard, I am very interested in starting a class action lawsuit against the company and if anyone is interested in joining, please contact me via email [email protected]

Bobby Levesque will yell at you. Bobby Levesque will threaten you. Bobby Levesque will do sub par work. Bobby Levesque will call you names and bully you. He is NOT a certified contractor. He has no concrete crew. He has no paver or cool deck installers. He has no plumber. He has no electrician. He has no tile installer. He has no marsite crew. No one works FOR
Bobby Levesque. No one works WITH bobby Levesque. If you think you're going to get a warranty on his crap work ??? If I could upload the video and pics of his shoddy workmanship I would. The only time you can count on this guy showing up is when it's time to $$ Save yourself some grief my friend... move on. I will post the SAME review EVERYWHERE I CAN WITH THE SAME MESSAGE. -

For your sanity Do NOT contract Bonafide pool builder for you pool. Bobby is worst possible pool contractor, and your nightmare starts once your 1st payment clears.
We started our pool process over a year ago and Bobby still has no clue how to pass the final inspection. I (the homeowner) had to re-submit the TDH revision myself to SJC and call for final inspection. Bobby has no clue even after I gave him all the TDH calculations. He screams and tells me that the homeowner is not allowed to interfere, yet he cannot close on the final inspection. Be aware Bobby is not licensed to work in Saint Johns County but he accepts contracts anyway. Your pool will not pass final inspection with Bonafide in SJC. This is just one issue of the many that we have had. Search the internet for others’ review to before going with Bonafide.
His workers work part time 2-4 hours per week max. He disappears for weeks at a time, refuses to communicate with us and regularly ignores any message we send. When he does respond, his messages are completely incoherent and he doesn't ever answer what you've actually asked. He asks for pictures so you are actually his onsite supervisor. He does not visit the worksite.
His crew leaves a major mess at the worksite, rebars, cut pipes, stakes, etc. Your yard looks like trailer trash. He yells at his work crew and at everyone even the client. Bobby is a bully, he threatens and screams when he doesn't get his way. Threatens to sue, threatens to walk off the job. If you're one of his employees, then you risk physical & verbal abuse by him. Don't be fooled by his pricing being less than others, by the time you have paid someone else to fix his errors, you'll be paying way more than had you gone with a reputable contractor and had it done right the first time. The pool is leaking and it is still not fixed after 10 months. We had to call a pool leak company and guess what, the pipe under the skimmer was duct taped. YES IT WAS DUCT TAPED TOGETHER !!! I have pictures as proof.
Saint Johns and Duval counties should bar Bobby and Bonafide from building pools in the county.

Threatens to sue, threatens to call the police on you, and more. If you're one of his employees, then you risk physical assault by him. Don't be fooled by his pricing being less than others, by the time you have paid someone else to fix all his errors, you'll be paying way more than had you gone with a reputable contractor and had it done right the first time
