Overall experience was extremely frustrating and a big dissapointment due to several mis-communications with sales representative and other issues. Owner was pleasant and proffesional, but quite a few promises made by salesaman that were not kept. I wanted to be present when roof was stripped and was told everything was lined up. The day before the work was scheduled I was called at work and told they did not have the correct shingles in stock. I picked an alternate from website while at work and they do not match house colors. Now I need to paint the house. I asked formen if they could weave the shingles on the major valleys and he did a great job on the major valleys. A minor valley he wove in the back over a bay window looks horrible from roof and on the ground. I wonder if it will hold up to a driving rain? Workers did not wear safety restraints at all as told, workers roofed over my dryer vent until I noticed it when I went up top after they had gone four rows over. Workers pulled out dump trailer and did not use magnet when they left. I picked up 8 nails from driveway where trailer was. I was not left so much as one shingle for color matching or future patching. I was told by sales rep that he would drop some by.He never did.Salesman never arranged for wind mitigation inspecftion even though it was included in contract. He deducted $150 and gave me the name of the inspector.I watched workers repair bad sheathing. I was originally charged for 20' of 2X6. I only saw them use one piece as a scab piece roughly 15" long. It was changed after I brought it up.

Permits
- Building permit records show that Bone Dry Roofing and Const has worked on 1439 permitted projects.
I'll start with the short version: You should without a doubt get a quote from Bone Dry Home Services. If you don't, you probably overspent for a roof that I'll wager won't be as good as the one they'll provide. If that isn't convincing enough then read below to see exactly how I came to be so impressed.
The owner, Daniel Leone, and his team at Bone Dry Home Services have completely exceeded my expectations, and I tend to set very high standards on projects I bid out. I work in procurement, sourcing large equipment and big construction projects. So, guaranteeing the best price and quality in the fastest time-frame are my 3 biggest priorities. Bone Dry Home Services' prices are good, but I always want to make sure quality isn't sacrificed whenever someone outbids the competition.
I spent a lot of time researching and talking with different roofing contractors, but overall I felt the most confident about Daniel Leone. I knew he was going to do a full, complete job updating everything to Florida's strict hurricane code, and using high quality shingles, underlayment and nails in the process. Also, the Bone Dry warranty was comparable to its more expensive competition.
I even called up the references provided — something not a lot of people do — and they all shared very positive stories about how the team at Bone Dry Home Services were very reliable, showing up when promised, and even got the job done in record time. These were guys with experience in the commercial construction industry, who understood Daniel Leone was very qualified, and they even gave me insights into how a lot of roofing companies operate. There is a good chance the roofing contractor you use will take your money, and then hire subcontractors to do the job as cheaply as possible. Do you really want to gamble your roof on some random pool of labor, or an experienced team with proper supervision of the finer details? Your roof is the biggest investment you'll make for your property.
If you somehow manage to find a lower quote than Bone Dry Home Services, I suggest you thoroughly research the business and their methods. Personally, I'd rather have more peace of mind on a 20 year investment knowing I made the right decision when it comes to quality. My roof only took a day and a half to complete and the clean-up was very thorough. I initially worried they'd be up there for an entire week, as I've seen with a lot of the roof work in my neighborhood, but they were so fast that having an exposed roof during Florida's rainy season was never a concern.
Actually, I even had something minor and insignificant fall from the ceiling and break, and it really wasn't their fault. I didn't even ask for them to reimburse me, but Daniel insisted on getting its exact replacement at a hardware store. He didn't even need to, but he really cares about quality workmanship and leaving a lasting impression, which is so rare among contractors I've worked with.
