My experience with Boulder Contracting LLC (Ham Lake, MN) was not very good. I purchased a spec house (not custom), so the motivation by the builder was to sell the house as fast as possible, build with the cheapest materials, lowest quality and once the sale is done, move on and do not provide support to the new home owner. I would not recommend buying a spec house from Boulder Contracting and I would be very careful to refer them to anyone for a custom build.

We had Boulder build a custom home for us. The house quality was quite good but the staining of the woodwork/cabinetry was not as requested and not very good. Boulder refused to address the problem and we had to go to court to get a resolution. Would not recommend them.
