I would give zero stars if that was an option. This man came to my home at my request over a year ago and gave me a quote to replace my existing sidewalk leading from my driveway to my front door ($2800). He seemed very nice and very knowledgable, and he was very good at selling himself. I was okay with his pricing, so I called shortly after he quoted me but no one answered the phone (which by the way was always the case) so I left a voice mail and told him I would like to proceed, please put me into his schedule. I asked that he call me back and let me know when he would be able to start the work (with no expection except before winter of course, whatever time he could start was fine). He never called, I called repeatedly and left more messages. This went on for weeks, and then months. I couldn't believe that no one had the courtesy to return my calls. At one point I even said," if you can't do it for whatever reason, health issues, too much work on your schedule, please just call me and let me know that so I can move on to another company." NEVER heard from him or his wife who supposedly runs the office although you always get voice mail when you call. It made me so angry that someone who operates a business could run it like this. Well, today, after more than year, I saw him driving through my development, so I followed him. No I'm not a stalker, but I just found his behavior so rude. I pulled up beside him and motioned for him to roll down his window. I said, "do you remember me? He said very sheepishly,"yea, kind of I do". I said, 'you gave me a quote to do my sidewalk over a year ago, I accepted your quote and you never called me to schedule. I called your office repeatedly for over a year leaving numerous messages. No one ever returned a single phone call. He said, "my wife called you back." I said, "no she didn't". I have one phone number, my cell phone, which I left repeatedly on your voice mail. I have NEVER received a call from your wife. He said, well, I can't do your job. I said, "Okay, that's fine but don't you think the right thing to do was call me and tell me that?" Especially when I am calling you repeatedly asking why you won't return my call? He said, "I really don't need this conversation." I said, you don't need it, but you deserve it!" My guess it that he won a government contract to do the concrete work on Rt 283 because I have seen his vehicles near the construction site, which I completely understand if that is the case, however, you call the customers who you already quoted and let them know you will not be able to do their work. That is COMMOM COURTESY!
