Brad Hired a subcontractor to replace my roof. They did a good job. However he failed to pay the supplier for the shingles so there is a lien on my house. He also did not pay the subcontractor. He Will not return phone calls.I Filed a police report for contractor fraud.

Brads Roofing was very honest, fair on price, and did a great job. I highly recommend this company.

Many repair jobs and two roof replacements
    $8,475

I had a great experience with Brads Roofing. I have been using Brad for the past 15 years and have never had any issues. They take pride in their work and gave me warranties on every job. I recommend them all the time. This other reviewer must have a personal issue with Brads Roofing or something because that’s not how I know this company to do business.

entire roof shingle and flat roof replacement
    $9,535

Negative review on Brad's Roofing, LLC, Brad G. Baradell, hired March 2020 for a whole roof replacement "job". This guy is a true confidence artist, he sounds very believable and trustworthy -- RUN ! Brad is a clown, and now I feel like one for hiring him. My best advice is to laugh at him as you crumble and throw away his unsigned estimate. I made the mistake of hiring him. Unfortunately only later saw in his background all the lawsuits, liens, bankruptcies, civil court records that suggest his work is crap.

And I now have to take this guy to civil court too to get my situation resolved.
Wow, these positive reviews may be friends or the work of web optimizers, discount jobs in return for lies?? Not sure, but certainly it was not my experience with this company.

Confidence artist, he comes across as honest and agrees to your requests, then on the day of the job he disappears and leaves the work to a bunch of Hondurans who you will not be able to communicate with. During the install, Brad Baradell will not answer or respond in any way and leave these inexperienced and likely illegal workers (their cars didn't have plates) to make your roof job last maybe two years. You will get a Third-World roof job. They will cut every corner they can. You will not be able to see the sloppy work they hid unless you go up on the roof or have experts show you what to look for. Once you notice a few glaring problems with the work, you will begin to see many other places that will create additional leaks, like un-flashed areas that will leak down your inside walls creating mold and termite potential problems. He may point out a rotted area that he will replace, but on the day of the job they will not replace it -- they will leave the rotted plywood not repaired and they will shingle right over it like they did to me.

Four independent roofers and one home inspector pointed out some issues. They used materials and workmanship that will void my warranty with the shingle manufacturer. The flashing on the chimney is not correct and will leak anytime within 2 years. The contract included placing 6 nails in the shingles for storm protection for southern Louisiana. A hard thing to prove. But another roofing professional lifted a few shingles before they sealed down, the shingles they looked at have nails that went all the way through the shingle because they had the pressure set too high on their nail gun compressor. They warned me the shingles won't hold up to a storm and/or will loosen prematurely. Gaps left in roofing material because they did not cut it correctly, were globbed with silicone into as wide as 1/2" gaps -- not good -- worse is they didn't even press it in with their finger, so silicon globs just rest on top of a crack that is not supposed to be there in the first place and will likely wash off in a storm because the globs are raised up and catching water. Then water will get inside the house or walls.

And if you have any low-pitched roof additions, he will talk you into a bitumen torch-down roof. There is an extra cost for this flat roof installation, and requires the expert job he will do as a "trained" installer. He will tell you how important it is to be trained and experienced to know just how much to heat the material or it will be ruined and won't last. Then watch as people you cannot communicate with apply the material wrongly. I have a list with photos from inspections that show why the roof will fail and that it cannot be repaired but must be replaced because it was installed incorrectly. He will tell you he will not do it over nor return your money, so you will have to pay someone to tear it off and do it over so it won't leak. He will instead refuse to replace or refund and he will extend your warranty on "workmanship" (can't believe this guy even uses the word "workmanship"). Don't count on this guy to warranty even answering his phone. If you suspect his game, he has an "answering service" (likely his wife and Honduran partner's wife) they will just field your call. And his guarantee of the "workmanship" goes about as far as I could throw this house. They did do a pretty good job of cleaning up though, in more ways than one.
