    Almost a year later and still waiting on our Florida room to be redone. Jimmy comes out and did our estimate and told us many things he's not been able or willing to deliver on to the job started... "once we get going it will be quick" he told me... another in a long list of inaccuracies. Now the drywall has been ready to install for over 2 months and they will not get back to me even though they've been paid. There's also issues with the work they've already done. I attached some photos of the stucco and soffit issues. Also, they don't perform any of the work themselves, they use subcontractors, which is a way for them to use the excuse "it's not my fault" or "I have no control over it", which I've heard many times. STAY AWAY FROM BRANAMJAMES!!!

    UPDATE: The day I wrote this initially, 7/7/2021, I got a phone call back from Tony at BranamJames, finally wanting to discuss finishing this job. I gave them 2 and a half weeks, until 7/23/2021, to finish this up and they dragged their feet, didn't get back to me when they said they would, then never showed up after Tony said someone would be out on 7/20/2021. The reason they gave me was that I had not changed this review yet, which I told them I would update as soon as the work resumed. As I said before, STAY AWAY FROM BRANAMJAMES!!!

    ADA compliant home remodel

    I contacted them on 5/01/17 to estimate the job. On 5/09/17 they came out to look at the project. I walked the project and highlighted a few things that was a must. I told them I needed the bedroom door widened, the bathroom door widened, and a shower that had a seat. I told them I found a drop in shower stall with a seat, but the guy estimating the job said "we will build you one." He left and told me I will have the estimate soon. When I did receive the estimate I was happy with the quoted price, I accepted the estimate.
    Now lets fast forward to right now. They came in on 6/13/17 demolished the bathroom and bedroom door. (At this time no shower/ tub just toilet.) The shower has been rebuilt without a seat, but is unusable because they lost key parts to the plumbing! The shower seat I have been screaming about since day one of the project, Rus Miles and Nancy Miles were present on one occasion when I was told it would be included. Well now they want to charge extra to install it. Yes I can buy a cheap seat to go in there, but I wanted it as part of the shower, not movable, This is what was discussed! The ADA toilet will cost me an additional 465 dollars, if I want it put in. When I asked why so much, I was told it was labor for removal and replacement! I pointed at the hole in the bathroom floor where tho old one was removed, I asked them where is the additional labor charge? You have to put one back in anyway! even offered to go to Home Depot and buy a new ADA compliant toilet, wax ring and all plumbing, and they still wanted almost 150.00 to put it in! The bedroom door was finally done yesterday, the shower still unusable, and still no toilet! The bathroom door is not widened because they wanted another 1300.00 over and above the estimate to do just that one thing. They claim it was not part of the original estimate.
    It is my opinion they intentionally bid a job cheap to win the bid, then up charge you when they do get it . If you are in the Leesburg area, looking for some construction work do not hire BranamJames Construction!
