One-Star Review: Extremely Disappointed – Avoid This Company
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Brandon Park Roofing and would not recommend them to anyone. Their workmanship was not only careless but also caused additional damage to my home.
First, they failed to nail the shingles correctly, which has already led to issues with wind lift and leaks. On top of that, they got tar on my stucco, leaving unsightly stains that I now have to pay to have cleaned or repainted.
They also loaded the shingles improperly, placing excessive weight in the wrong areas. This caused damage to the trusses, and now several of them have to be sistered. Worse still, they dropped shingles during the job, which punched holes through my decking — requiring full replacement in areas that were otherwise fine before they started.
What really frustrates me is that they recommended a recover instead of a proper tear-off and replacement. This cut corners at my expense. The original shingles were in poor shape and should have been removed — a decision any experienced roofer should have made responsibly.
To top it off, they didn’t replace any of the weather stripping or vent covers, which are essential for proper insulation and ventilation. It’s clear they rushed the job and overlooked critical details.
Adding insult to injury, they offered no refund, no offer to redo the repairs, and no assistance in covering the cost of hiring a competent company to fix the damage they caused. I had to pay out-of-pocket to have the entire roof redone properly — including removing all the shingles, sistering damaged trusses, and repairing the decking.
I regret hiring this company and am now stuck with the financial and structural consequences of their shortcuts and negligence. Save yourself the stress, time, and money — hire someone else.
