Justin was prompt in getting in touch with me and submitting a bid. We had a good start date. Demolition was a little trickier that anticipated. Justin and JJ were easy to work with and accommodated my requests. The project took longer than estimated due to supplies and cabinet delays. Communications could have been a little bit better. But in the end I love my new shower and cabinets. The bathroom turned out exactly has I had envisioned. The work was done last summer, sorry for the delay in commenting.

Hired Justin and his team over at Brazell Builders to over-excavate site and pour concrete foundation for a 1200 square foot garage new build.
Bottom line up front; I would hire Justin and his team in a heartbeat for another project.
I've worked with several contractors over the years, and this might be the smoothest project of them all. Justin took the time to meet in person during the bidding phase and was very responsive to our requirements. His pricing was very competitive; but more impressively is the fact that he wasn't like other contractors who like to bid jobs low, knowing they can add to the contract cost later with "recommended changes". The price he quoted was the price we paid.
After hiring him for the job, he started on the day he said he would and he completed the job 2-weeks ahead of schedule; and the only reason it wasn't sooner was due to concrete truck scheduling (outside Justin's control). His team was always punctual, courteous, professional and actually a pleasure to be around. Justin coordinated with the soils engineer and county inspectors so there was never a delay while waiting for inspections. Cherry on top is that the soils engineer and county inspectors approved everything with no corrections or revisits required. I'm not an expert on foundations, but it looks pretty darn good to me. Last thing that was very impressive was his attentiveness. While discussing the project he asked pointed questions and then offered no-cost minor adjustments that he thought would be to our benefit in the future. E.g. suggested installing certain items in the foundation to make electrical work easier down the road, or understanding there would be a car lift installed at a future date and ensuring the area where the lift would be had extra concrete.
I could go on, but this review is already pretty long. I will close with this. Besides being a consummate professional, he was a friendly, honest, polite, punctual, easy going and a pleasure to work with. Can't say enough about these guys. Thanks Brazell Builders!

Justin Brazell is not only highly skilled as a general contractor. He is courteous, kind, and a good communicator. He makes intelligent suggestions, but also understands how to listen and adapt to client needs. He and his crew are tidy--they clean up as they go along. During the pandemic, they have also been respectful about the for masking, etc. Could not be happier with his work.

Justin Brazell and his team remodeled a bathroom and kitchen for us. Justin is a great communicator, always available via text or phone, and made sure he knew exactly what our needs and vision were. He went with us to choose appliances, shower doors, counter materials, etc. So we were happy with what the result would be. When the tile man made a mistake in the counter, he did not accept it; he ensured the tile man came back (at great cost to him), and fixed the significant error. We loved working with him and would use him again in a heartbeat.

First off, he was late for every appointment. Then twice he brought the wrong tools or material and had to come back. On Friday the 16th he came (late) to do the prep work. He said he would be at our house at 8:00AM Saturday morning the 17th to install the flooring. At 8:11, He sent a text saying he was driving and on the way, he is only about 40 minutes away. He finally showed up at 10:00AM, 2 HOURS LATE! I said I would appreciate it if he would show up at the time HE SCHEDULED to be here. He said “stuff comes up” , whatever that means, and he didn’t like to be rushed and that I was disrespectful to him. He was two hours late and I was the one being disrespectful? I went to the restroom and when I came out less than 1 1/2 minutes later, he had loaded up his tool and walked off the job. I called him and asked what was going on and he said “I’m off the job because I don’t like being disrespected. I’m the customer, he walks off the job and I’m the bad guy? I think this was a blessing in disguise because he was in over his head. I have also found a “professional floor installer” to do the job. He is VERY unprofessional and he doesn’t represent your company in a very good light.

Patrick McMahan

Justin just completed a remodel of our kitchen, as well as adding a half bath off of the kitchen. He replaced all the exterior and interior doors - along with all new flooring and wood trim. Justin also replaced most of our windows. It's like we have a new house when you walk inside!
Justin is driven to provide exceptional service and workmanship. We are very pleased with Justin and his crew.
