Brazil Floors refinished my hardwood floors. They did an excellent job, very neat worker and cleaned up every day before going home. one of my rooms had old rubber padding from the carpet that was put down in 1971 he had to actually sand the padding off the floor, They almost gave up but did not he keep working on them The end result was awesome the floor was beautiful. I highly recommend Brazil Flooring they will do a great job and is one of the nicest guys I have ever meet. They tells you everything that he is going to do to the floor and how you should maintain them.

We recently had laminate flooring installed in our new home. We shopped around and Brazil Floors could absolutely not be beat on price. This isn't going to be our forever home, but the Brazil flooring we selected looks really great. We made our purchase during a promotion and got the flooring for $2/sq ft. We worked with Pedro and his team both were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.
We were educated about all the different products and able to ask questions about pros/cons, quality, installation, etc. We went through Brazil Floors to find an installer and that process was smooth and easy. You call a +1 203-916-4898 number to set up the install. The operators on the line were good communicators and made that process a breeze. Everything was scheduled and happened on time. The installers were efficient and left very little waste meaning that we didn't have to over-purchase very much which is something that you can run into with less experienced installations. They also took our carpet out and removed it. The installers arrived on time and finished on time/early during the day of installation.
A few notes: You have to pick up the flooring yourself. My wife and I have two small sedans and we were able to load 17 boxes between our two cars with the seats down. If you have a pickup truck or a van, you'll probably be fine for most projects. Our project was for about 360 sq ft.
Don't forget when you're computing your costs that you will have to buy trim and padding as well. The Brazil Floors staff will explain all that you need, but don't just assume the cost per sq ft on the wood that you're choosing.

The finished floors were absolutely beautiful. The room they did had a lot of odd angles, and everything fit quite well. They were prompt and courteous, and were very careful about our cat not getting out. They provided a lot of help and advice on letting the fumes out. Two thumbs up on quality, service, and price. This Company came in equal for price with another solid looking outfit. I chose them as they looked slightly more organized than the others.
The job was all done in the appointed time, with no issues while they had the care of our house.
When we saw the job we were very satisfied with the results. He color was fantastic and the texture a lovely matte finish, a huge improvement on the old one. The alcohol treatment really brought out the grain.
They sorted out really quickly a couple of small defects after our walk through.
All up a great job and we would be happy to use them again.

We had a 100% great experience with Brazil Floors. Initial response times were fast, the quote was well below the competitors, and they actually identified and matched the existing wood without any samples. They had to order the wood from Colombia and it took a few extra days but the workmanship was absolutely flawless. They did about 500 square feet in just a couple of days once they got the wood and all the transitions were pristine. They also floated the floor and left it far more even and level than it ever had been. We're extremely pleased with the professionalism of their works end, their backend workmanship and their prices. Highly recommended.

Brazil Floors did a beautiful job on our kitchen floors. We had damage from a fridge leak, and he made extensive repairs to our subfloor before installing new white oak throughout the kitchen. He was very transparent, responsive to our questions, detail oriented, and overall very easy to work with. We would be glad to work with him again!

Brazil Floors Team came out and refinished the floors on a rental property in Hartford for me. Floors had some water stains and generally pretty banged up. Floors turned out absolutely beautiful!
All along the way Helio was communicative about the process, answered all my questions, and even worked with me on getting it done quickly due to a pending tenant move in. In short, him and his team were fantastic. Can't recommend enough. Highly Recommended Brazil Floors..!!

They installed hardwood floors in my house. Removed carpet in one room and had to remove hard wood from another. Guy who installed it was here on Saturday AND Sunday (that is what worked for us). He was professional, and cleaned up everything.
The buying process was smooth. They were extremely helpful, and anyone else that helped us when we were trying to pick materials as well.
Price was really good. Overall everything went great. Zero complaints here. Entire experience was excellent. -

Brazil Flooring handled the installation of our new hardwood flooring from end to end, including the removal of tile in our kitchen and living room area.
The initial meeting was very helpful as we needed advice on what sort of wood to use, how to arrange and what color. The insights were spot on and the quote came in lower than we expected.
The job was completed on time and without fuss. The work crews were polite and accommodating.
The tidy up crew did a great job and we had our house back in two days. We are extremely happy with our flooring.

After purchasing a new home we realized the flooring had to go.
Helio came out quickly and gave us a detailed quote that was reasonable and met our fairly constrained timeline. He even dropped by a full box of the wood stock we were consider just so we could be 100% the flooring was right for us.
The crew was top notch and did a perfect install well ahead of schedule. Pedro was very professional and put a ton of care into the selection and placement of each wood plank. When I saw the finished product I was moved to tears--it is gorgeous!
I could not say enough about Brazil Floors. I would highly recommend their services to anyone.

Pedro came out and evaluated the floors himself, which made us feel good about his word. He was honest and the price was fair. I have been remiss in giving a shout-out to hardwood flooring. They did a superb job installing our original flooring in 2011. We recently had a water problem in the bathroom that compromised the flooring at the threshold of the bathroom. I called Brazil Hardwood Flooring to have the flooring replaced at the threshold. There was no runaround by the owner, he said the original installer would be there the next week. The installer arrived when he said he would and replaced the wood with a piece leftover from the original job for a nominal price.
There are many things to be said about this company.
Number 1, they stand behind their work. They will be there tomorrow if you have a problem. They are the best! -

Within 1 hour of the home visit I was emailed a quote. COMPETITIVELY PRICED! In fact, was much cheaper than I expected. They stayed in contact regularly as needed until job was done. I've worked with Brazil Flooring for two different apartments and they do great work. The first job was replacing an old wood floor that had sustained some damage due to a flood from an apartment above mine plus had some gaps that would've required a good amount of wood filler. The floor came out so beautifully. The second job was a refinishing of a wood floor along with a new stain. The quality of this was great, and while I had to have them come back for one extra coat, I was very happy with the work and the communication on both projects. Brazil Floors know their wood flooring very well, and they don't push you to add on unnecessary products or services and they're great at providing all of the forms a building requires. Any time that I need wood flooring work done, I'll continue to work with them.

Our experience with Brazil Flooring was nothing short of amazing! The workers did an excellent job on our 50 year old Red Oak wood floors! We wanted to save the floors and restore the house to its original look. But we weren't sure of what the outcome would be. The skilled workers didn’t find it that hard and delivered the floor by their beautiful Floor Refinishing process. Prior to the project there was two layers of vinyl tiles and a sub floor. The sub floor had been glued and they also provided the exact match of our old oak floor. We will surely hire them again if we need anything to be done in future.

Warning to all they advertise cheap price . take your deposit money and never come for install Go with a local company that can give referrals it isn't worth losing a large amount of money hoping to get a deal with this out of state company they have my money and I had to get another company to come in and do the job
Run!!!!! This unprofessional company should not
even have a license to install or touch hardwood floors. First I must say we didn’t chose to hire Brazil floors. We bought a spec home and the builder hired this company to install & stain white oak floors. They botched them. Too many problems to list here. There were tons of exposed nails that they didn't even bother to fill them. They didn’t sand down the floors flush with the stairs so the flooring was uneven. When & where they did fill the nail holes it was the wrong color filler. They applied the topcoat on the floors even though there were blemishes, dust, stains shoe marks and scratches all over the floors. We argued with the builder and he had Brazil Floors come back in to try to fix the flors. We begged to have the builder hire someone else, but he already paid Brazil Floors in full. He only hired them because they must've been the cheapest bid. Floors-boards were not glued down properly to star. One area in front of our a sliding door hardwood completely cracked. Dust was everywhere!!! The repair work was horrible & only made the floors look worse. They sanded too far down & removed the existing stain and then put poly on top leaving the floors incredibly blotchy & uneven. They tried to repair damaged boards, but left them looking worse. They are criminals & shouldn't be hired by anyone. I blame the builder first for hiring these guys, but they are not skilled to install hardwood flooring.
