Brb Construction

My father-in-law purchased two new homes, adjacent from one another, in the Rose Haven subdivision in Conway South Carolina. During the inspection prior to closing on our home, we literally had a 10 page punch list! The builder promised they would fix all the items within a two-week period. It has now been almost one year and there are still items on the punch list that I have not been repaired. I have had to repair some of the items because the builder claims they are cosmetic I E, bulges and dents in the sheet rock, nail pops, sheet rock tape and mud coming loose, unpainted cabinet shoe kick molding that I had to paint, etc. My father-in-law's house, right next door, has a driveway with a bad grading. Every time it rains he gets rain water inside his garage. They tried to fix it with molding attached to the garage floor however, rain continues to come into the garage. His front door will not close completely, leaving a gap near the top because the door jam is not plum. There are heavy duty chips and scratches beneath his kitchen sink in the wooden base of the cabinet that they refused to repair, caused by whomever did the plumbing work. BRB Construction Will make promises and tell you anything you want to hear in order to sell you a Home however, they will not follow through! I have talk to at least 10 neighbors and none of them are happy with this builder either!

We purchased a new home from BRB Construction (owner, Roy Coffin) on July 12, 2016, as a retirement property. We provided BRB Construction with our initial punch list of items that needed repaired within our 1 year warranty.
Although we contacted them regularly to address what needs completed/repaired, they ignore our requests, will not call us with updates, and have developed a sarcastic attitude when we attempt to follow up.
As a result, we are finding it necessary to contact legal assistance to assure those items are complete and we are within the one year warranty timeframe (July 11, 2017).
Repairs still needed to be completed are as follows: 1) Pavers at the boat dock were sinking into the water due to lack of erosion protection. The seawall has been completed for which we are grateful. However, the remainder of the fill and pavers have not been finished. 2) There is a dead palm tree that needs to be replaced. We have had a professional landscaping company doing the lawn and landscaping maintenance since we purchased the the property. The owner has verified that the watering and fertilizing of the plants has been properly and professionally maintained since he started in July 2016. 3) There is a damaged grill the wine refrigerator that BRB promised to replace. 4) Tiles on the outside front foyer are loose causing a safety hazard.
Needless to say, we are extremely disappointed with BRB Construction and their failure to follow through after our purchase!
