Window install; cedar wood wall install; repair roof flashing; install gutter

Mr. Henry doesn’t warranty his work with action. He blamed the customer and his assistant when the results of his work were substandard. His low rating is due to my need to hire others to fix his mistakes. He does not take responsibility for his workmanship or that of his temporary employees.
He likes to say that his education is on-the-job training. I guess his installation of a cedar wood wall in my sun room was a teachable moment. Unfortunately I was the one who learned a lesson that Mr. Henry didn’t have the skill to do a professional job. That was the supporting opinion of two local contractors. Some very expensive materials will be wasted.
Mr. Henry worked on roof flashing and replaced many roof shingles. He also installed new windows in my sun room. I now have water intrusion from rain that appeared after his new construction. Mr. Henry responded to my request for him to try to abate the situation with “sorry, you need a roofer.” More on-the-job training?
Be wary whether Mr. Henry already has the skill and experience to do the job you want done before hiring him. He has positive dated reviews elsewhere for unspecified projects. He comes across as a nice guy at the outset, but there are a lot of nice guys in South Lake Tahoe.
