By AnonymousJune 29, 2015HVAC repairWORST HVAC company. STAY AWAY
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Would give them ZERO stars if possible. Company came out on 6/23/15 to fix troubleshoot a problem with the line freezing on the HVAC unit. The technician turned off the air conditioner so that the ice would melt overnight and came out the next day to determine the problem. He explained that once the ice melted there was no more problem and to keep the air conditioner setting to no lower than 70 degrees. 3 days later the ice returned. I called the company 6 times with no luck and left 2 voice mails. Assuming they weren't answering because they have my cell phone number tied to a recent job, I had my husband call from his cell. Of course, he got through right away. The owner said it would be 5 days until they could come out. My husband explained that this is our 2nd call on a problem that wasn't fixed the first time around. He said "tough...5 days". My husband asked "Is that they way you treat your customers as an owner"? "It sure is", said the owner. Then he HUNG UP on us. I couldn't believe it. We called again and when he realized it was us, he hung up on us again.
STAY AWAY!!!! This company should be out of business.

I'm writing this at 1 am because it's 90 degrees in my house and I can't sleep. I cannot adequately express in words how little respect I have for this Brooklyn fellow. He first came about two weeks ago and charged us a service fee just for walking around the AC unit and telling us we needed to clean up the weeds around it better. After that obviously fixed nothing (since they weren't even that bad) he came back out and actually opened it up to find a burned out condenser. He told us it would take two weeks to get the part. I called the home warranty company we were working with (First American) to complain about a two week wait in the middle of the summer when they informed me that the contractor had recommended they deny our claim since the burned out condenser was our fault for not weeding well enough around the unit. When I called Brooklyn back he stumbled around for an explanation on the phone for a little while before hanging up on me. This clown is going to end up costing me $2500 because he just wanted the quick service fee for 30 minutes worth of work.

I had a furnace go out not to long ago. I called on a weekend and no one would come out without me paying a lot of money. I called Bridgerland Heating and he said he would be out now for the normal fee. He came out and got me furnace working that night. He had the parts right there on the truck and his prices were extremely fair. I later decided that it was time to upgrade and called them back. He came out and gave me a free bid, which was the best price out of them all. I am currently a proud owner of a high efficent furnace for the price of a less efficent furnace from the competitor. Thank You Bridgerland!!

Homeowner - South Jordan, Utah
During one of the hottest summer days of 2012, we suddenly had no air conditioning. One call to Bridgerland HVAC (at night - after hours) and we had the promise of service the following day. Bridgerland was quick, efficient, polite and professional - a new motor fan was installed in furnace. The very next week - again no air conditioning. Another call, another quick response (this time it was the air conditioning unit) and again we had cooling. And yet - a third time "no cooling." Another call, another quick response (when they were swamped with air conditioning problems everywhere) and the problem was solved. The end result - our ten year old central air conditioner has provided cool air every day and we are happy to have found an hvac contractor we can count on for service and dependability.

Brooklyn Anderson from Bridgerland HVAC came to my home and installed a new furnace he was fast, and did an excellent job. He ask if I was happy with the work and I was very happy. Brooklyn was a pleasure to work with and want me to be satisfied with everything. I would use him again without reservation.

I also found Brooklyn to be extremely XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXy and lazy. He was contracted through a home warranty company, otherwise I wouldn't have chosen him as my HVAC contractor. He came to inspect my swamp cooler and told me that nothing was wrong, then proceeded to collect his $60 service fee as if that was all he cared about. There are many other HVAC companies in the area that you can use; there is no reason to choose Bridgerland/Brooklyn for your HVAC needs.

Brooklyn Andersen from Bridgerland HVAAC came to my home to look at my air conditioning unit as it was not working well. After spending a total of five minutes checking things, he informed me that nothing was wrong with my unit. I told him that this was impossible as it was simply not cooling my house. He told me to keep my blinds closed as this would help (I have north facing windows, no sun comes through) and that maybe it was my insulation (there is nothing wrong with my insulation). I had to call him to come back as a week later the unit was still not functioning properly. This time he came over, was XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXy and acted like it was a pain to be at my house again, and told me again that there was nothing wrong with the unit. I told him that there had to be, as it was not cooling the home, he was rude and I asked him to leave my house. I called another, competent HVAC professional to come over, and he was able to tell me within 2 minutes that the fan motor was burned out on my unit. After getting everything taken care of, finally, I called Bridgerland back to tell them that there had indeed been something wrong and Brooklyn did not even apologize for the inconvenience. Stay away from this company, call Mountain Air instead.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY……The Owner, Brooklyn is very rude & never will return your calls! Brooklyn is the owner of this company & does not care about the result of his work for his clients. During the biggest heat wave, my A/C unit died on me. He was dispatched by my home warranty company & came out the 1st time. Told me that my outdoor unit was dirty & that it was “over charged”. He spent 5 minutes & was done. He did not listen to my complaints of what I was noticing before my A/C died. Two weeks later, my A/C died yet again. Called Brooklyn three times to never get a phone call back. Called a third time to have him answer & very rudely told me that I would have to go through my home warranty company. Went through them & scheduled another appointment for them to come out. Due to the high volume, I was placed on a 5 day waiting period. They scheduled with my home warranty a date & time to come out. They never showed up & would not answer my calls as to why they did not show up when I took time off work to meet “Their” schedule. Long story short…Called my home warranty company & submitted a formal complaint against this company. My home warranty companies apologized & have me set up with another HVAC company to address why my A/C unit is not working. Just beware that this company has a bad reputation when you read their reviews……
