I hired Edwin at Brilliant Home Works for a patio extension and firepit installation. After signing contract, Edwin and his subcontractor(s) were quick to get started on the project and did an EXCELLENT job. The patio looks great. They installed stamped concrete on new and existing patio to make it blend and the brick fire pit looks perfect.
After receiving contract, I was a little hesitant bc it seemed to be a contract aimed for larger scale home renovations and a lot of the language did not pertain to the scope of my project. However, I knew by speaking with him that he was a professional and decided to look past all of the CYA details contained therein. Further, he was accommodating to making tweaks to the contract in some areas, and we communicated about some details that did not call for detailing in contact.
I highly recommend Brilliant Home Works.

We did a fireplace remodel with a linear gas fireplace to replace a gas log fireplace and new flooring in several rooms including stairs. Tilework around the fireplace went well except for ledge work which had to be redone at our catch. No problem getting it redone. Floors are a bit creaky in places (a vinyl plank). No liner was used with the floor. There were some paint fingerprints on furniture where painter moved furniture, which came off with an alcohol wipe. Demo went well and workers cleaned up nicely inside. Some small debris was left outside in the yard where cutting was done. Contractor communicated well and kept work flowing quickly.
