It was a pleasure to work with Kieran and his team. The task of refurbishing, replacing architecturally correct windows, 4 stories up was not an easy task. He provided beginning to end work, paying attention to all of the details; from pulling permits for the special spec windows that had to be used, to the build of the historically correct pieces, and installation into a space that was difficult to access, and through a residence that was inhabited. Everything went smoothly with Kieran's communication skills, constructions skills, and vast knowledge of the permitting landscape.
Kieran and Broad Oak far exceeded my expectation of the relationship between contractor and home owner. Kieran is smart, knowledgable and highly skilled. Paramount in this transaction are his communication skills and character, truly blessed to be able to work with such an good person.

Kieran was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish; we truly cannot recommend him more highly. He and his team handled a gut remodel of our kitchen and bathroom. From our initial meetings to set out scope and expectations, Kieran helped guide us in understanding what was and was not possible given the both the physical constraints of our condo and our budget. He was always available for any and all questions and really helped us form the vision for our remodel. Once construction started, he kept us updated with daily reports and pictures and set realistic expectations for the progress. Because he was so thorough in planning from the start, we didn't have any major surprises. Even when there were a couple of hiccups (like the counter guy somehow sending the complete wrong material), he worked quickly to resolve the issue so there was no added delay. Amazingly, the projects were finished on time and on budget and the results are outstanding. Kieran really knows the ins and outs of every step of the remodel process - from planning to material selection to subcontractors to navigating the impossibly complex world of permitting in SF. We would absolutely work with him again and have recommended him to everyone we know.

Kieran performed an extensive basement remodel that involved floor level changes, new heater system, plumbing, rewiring, sheet rocking, door installation, painting and floor finishing.

On another job for me he replaced a large 5' by 10' custom Douglas fir window on the second floor of a Victorian shingle house.

Kieren always maintains a high quality level in his work. He is resourceful, excellent at planning, and very rigorous at maintaining schedule. He also has access to good, skilled workers in multiple disciplines.

He also maintains very good communications with the client, responding to questions promptly and explaining the steps of the job.

The jobs Kieran has done for me have all turned out very well. Highly recommended

Kieran and his team did several renovation projects for us shortly after we moved into our apartment:
1) Home Theater. Opened up holes in our living room walls and ran channels to support in-wall surround sound speakers / in-wall wiring for our home entertainment system and then drywalled and repainted.
2) Medicine cabinet installation and assorted work in our master bathroom.
3) Backsplash tile installation in our kitchen.

Fantastic work on all fronts - projects came in within initial estimates, which were competitive, and we've had no problems with any of the work several years later. Kieran was an outstanding communicator, prompt, and professional, which was critical during the home theater remodel since we had to pivot the project a few times after cutting into the walls and finding non-standard studs in unusual places.

Would definitely recommend and hire again.

Kieran recently completed a kitchen and bath remodel for us. He gutted and completely redid both rooms. From start to finish, Kieran was easy to work with. He showed up on time or early for every meeting and was well prepared with the right questions to ask to guide us through the process. He worked tirelessly to finish the project on time and on budget. When we had some delays that were outside of his control (eg cabinets not being delivered on time), he worked overtime to get us back on track so that we could still finish the project on time. We got multiple bids for our project and his came in around the middle, but unlike other contractors he didn't try to increase his profit with frivolous change orders. I will definitely hire him again for other remodel projects. I give him my highest recommendation, without reservation.

Kieran gave me an entirely different experience on remodeling from other GC that I had worked with before.

I came to Kieran with a fixed budget that I knew was not enough to cover everything that I wanted to do.. So Kieran helped me prioritize on areas that could bring out the maximum enhancement of the property value. We ended up gutted one bathroom and completely rebuilt it. We also fixed up some parts of the other bathroom. We touched up the fire place and repainted the whole interior. The results far exceeded my expectations.

Kieran is very thoughtful and trustworthy. He is great at catching the smallest details. The quality of his work is superior. I am very happy with his services, and will absolutely work with him again.
