Beware!!! Please, please save yourself the trouble. I called Lance to give me a bid on replacing plugs and switches, moving electric box to a new location (everything worked before), and installing new light fixtures and fans. Nice guy. Seemed knowledgeable. He was a little more expensive than my other bid but could get to it sooner (I know why now!). He asked that I pay him for each section completed which I agreed. First, he changed the old light switches and outlets to white. Well, actually he sat on a stool and told his novice nephew what to do. Lance left for half the day and upon return proceeded to berate his nephew for doing it incorrectly because that meant HE was going to have to redo it. Paid him for the job. Returned with the task of moving an entire electrical panel to a new location. He SAT on the STOOL yet again and told his inexperienced nephew what to do. I returned to check out the job and there is trash all over the floor and wires hanging everywhere and 1/3 of the house, including the HVAC, no longer works. I called him back. He said he would come to look at it on a certain day, no show, no text to say he isn’t coming. Text him back a week later and he said he and most of his staff are sick. Understood, there is a pandemic. Two weeks later, I texted to see when he would return. He said he is trying to work on ‘other jobs’ that got behind while his employees were sick. After I request my money back (full refund on panel job since it was not completed to restore power as before) he decides to come. He works for about an hour, cleaned up the mess, says he has everything back to the way it was before. Again, power is not restored to the bedrooms, the utility room, and HVAC is still not powered. I had Lance come out to bid (what I thought was) a whole job on a remodel. I had a wall removed so I would assume that would include wires (you know, electrical stuff) hanging out of ceilings and walls or wires cut by the demo of a wall. I mean, isn’t that what electricians do? Nope! He says he did not include putting wires back in their appropriate place in his bid. ? Who did he assume would do it?! The plumber?!?! If all you need is a fan replaced, maybe this is your guy. If you need more, run like the wind blows!!! He will accept the job, sit on a stool, leave you with a mess for someone to repair and keep your money!!!!
